1 - No, we haven’t asked you to come over for a meal in ages, no, I don’t care how many hints you drop, it’s falling on deaf ears.
I don’t expect you to help prepare or cook when you’re here BUT I do expect you to supervise your kids, not plonk down on the sofa and completely ignore them. Accidents may happen but if you actually looked after them instead of scrolling through your phones, we wouldn’t have had a house plant tipped over the carpet, used toilet roll and wee on the toilet floor, orange juice poured in the dogs bowl plus numerous others. Oh and by the way, we’ve never been invited over to your house in the eight years you’ve lived there!

2 - Im sorry your daughter would rather spend time with her gran but for god’s sake be honest, you spent the first ten years of her life bouncing from one disastrous relationship to another because you were desperate for a bloke. You put them in front of her needs. Her gran might not be perfect but at least she was there for her.

Get the two women who've been coughing and sneezing for the last two weeks and with whom I've been in close contact to do Covid tests.

I don't care if you're negative, they might still be an infection risk.

Truly, I never thought I would be thanking the CMS, but after every trick you’ve tried, I can’t quite believe you’re going to be paying slightly more this year than last.

I honestly thought that you had managed to get yourself reassessed as zero.

just so you know, I,m going to pay that £30 extra/month towards the mortgage.
That’s the mortgage on my new house that I managed to somehow scape together the deposit for after years of your financial and emotional abuse.
You thought I’d sink, but I didn’t.

and now you’re paying towards my safe warm home, for me and the kids. karma.

You are becoming old and grumpy and a fucking nightmare to live with. You think you know better about everything all the time. You pick fights for absolutely no reason- with the energy company and with our neighbour and the real estate agent. Your idea that every single tradesman is incompetent so you can do everything yourself is fucking nuts. It would be good if you actually finished a piece of the DIY you are so fucking cack handed at. You have no pride in your home, your appearance or anything else. And what the actual fuck happened to you- you used to be up for a day out, a new experience and just chilling with a picnic. Now everything is too much effort, too hard and you can't be bothered. It's no wonder I just get on with things myself and then all you do is moan that whatever it is I want to do is somehow stupid or expensive.

It's boring and depressing.
