Man spreading on the bus *pic*

I'm currently on the bus. It's busy. Had to ask this dick to move his bag so I could sit. He did, however didn't move his legs so I made room for myself and pushed his leg over a bit when I sat. He didn't move. He hasn't moved. I felt a bit ick with him touching me so have crossed my a leg a bit and am using my foot to keep his leg off me.....he pretending to be asleep, eyes tight closed.

I hope I've marked his trousers. He's not moved though...I'm pushing a bit and have a steadfastly got on my foot against him and the front of the bus.

I want to ask him really loud if he has something wrong with his testicles and that's why he is taking up so much space. 🙄

It really makes me angry.

You are putting your foot crossed on his knee! Wtf no one sits on the bus with legs crossed and out especially if it’s busy- I’m presuming that’s why he sat next to you

I’ve paid for a space on public transport so I’m happy to spread my legs too if anyone tries this next to me. They look at me like I’m mad but I spread further. I’m not making myself smaller for these fuckers lol

I was once sat on a tube with a manspreading bloke. I was in the early stages of pregnancy- not showing yet but not in the hormonal mood to take any crap. I asked him to move his leg please. He refused so I took him on and didn’t back down. I was calm, didn’t raise my voice but absolutely firm and told him he was in my personal space. He eventually got off and told me I was a ‘fucking crazy bitch’. Very powerful assumption that as a women you just accommodate. He really could not believe I was challenging him on it.

See that oblong shape on the back of the seat in front? Looks like a table thingy you pull down on trains? That is supposed to be squarely in front of the OP's seat. His leg should be to the left of the two vertical ⏸️ lines between the seats. 🙄

What's the point of this post, either you speak up and rectify the situation, or shut up and put up.
If you have the need to post this as it's so infuriating the just ask him to move his leg.
It's hardly a case to needing to bash the male of the species when it's just one offender and the majority are not this inconsiderate.

Let me clear a few things up!
Firstly this was about 8am yesterday morning. It took me a while to get the image to post.

Secondly, no seat in front, no table. (Tables on buses?!) It was the front seat of the top deck of a double decker bus.

Ive marked roughly where the join of the two seats where.

If I moved my foot his leg was pressing (not just touching) against my thigh.

I did try to move him up a bit when I first sat down. He just moved his legs back open wide...

He DEFINITELY knew he was encroaching on my space...

When he moved to get up at the next stop I made a point of looking him in the eye to ask if he was getting off and he had a small smirk on his face. I think I had my angry face on with my eyebrows raised.

I do not feel bad about taking a photo, it is hardly identifiable!

Seriously think we should campaign for bus stewards...and maybe tables too.

Person on the right is ramming their foot into the other passenger. If they weren't doing that there'd be a gap.

They would. My partner has this issue and it hurts when the bus goes over a bump if your kneecaps are rammed against the plastic.

Hope he drops a revenge fart to get OP back for trying to push his knee into the hard plastic. 😂

There is about an inch between his knee and the front of the bus.

If I moved my foot his leg would have sprung back on my thigh!

Second- the front seat of the top deck! That is literally the best seat on the bus. At least that was some consolation OP! (Or was the rest of the bus actually empty and you sat down next to him so you could play at “driving”? 😂)

I've had to do it many times but would never say anything anymore because even small comments as you're walking away can cause right mentalists to blow up and abuse you so I've learned to, unfortunately, be a statue and say nothing.
