My brand new left-handed fucking tin-opener that turns out not to open tins at all, no matter which hand you use.

There are bigger things that can fuck off, obvs. But this was the last fucking straw today and I was barely able to hold myself back from going mental with a hammer on a tin of baked beans.

Anxiety, phobia of vomit and stomach bugs…currently have all 3 (though I’m waiting my turn for the last one which is sending the first one through the roof)

Winter. Not just this year - every year. January and February can fuck right off.

Yep. November and December too.

Minniem2020 · 14/01/2023 20:27

DP for the shitty comment he made about not getting enough sex, it's put me in a rage all day. It is of course only my fault.
My poor DSs cold.
My other DSs night terrors that are disturbing his sleep.
The gale force winds I can hear battering the house.

The human race. A big mistake.

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 14/01/2023 20:30

Oh, some of these are so awful.

My petty (some repetitive) ones are:

my line manager, making things difficult at work
dog haters
Harry and Meghan
JKR hate
the wind
running out of heating oil
Richard Osman not writing books quickly enough😂
Dry January
short days
ageing
messing up summer holiday arrangements

ShitMumsClub · 14/01/2023 20:30

Adhd

Not all of it, I'd like to keep ds's bravery, intelligence, enthusiasm and creativity. The meltdowns can fuck off though.

Anyone who is cruel to children and old people
Incels
Corporate jargon
People who don't out their hand up to say thanks when you let them out
People that don't indicate/use the wrong lanes

AllThingsServeTheBeam · 14/01/2023 20:32

My arthritis

People don't understand how debilitating it is. I was diagnosed as a teenager and now would need a wheelchair if I left the house to do more than go from a car to work (sitting)

The NHS is fucked so operations that would help me are taking years longer than they need. I'm losing my youth. My kids are going to be left home by the time I am fit for anything
