When do you, if ever, drink champagne?

I had a milestone birthday recently and moved house last week. For both of these I have been given a fair few bottles of champagne - ranging from Mumm to Veuve Cliquot/Laurent Perrier. I don't mind champagne, and regularly drink Prosecco at home, but it feels strangely indulgent to drink champagne on a random Saturday night. Yes, I could save it for special occasions but what would they be?

So yes - my question is, if you have champagne in your house, when would you drink it?

Had our nicest bottle with a takeaway kebab on a random evening. Doesn’t have to be a special occasion.

When I have it. I don't keep things for good as there could always be bad and I'll never enjoy it!
