I get the rage when I’m constantly asked to prove I am not a robot by clicking on little pictures of ‘fire hydrants’, ‘traffic lights’ or ‘hills’- argh!

And it takes 3 goes because there's a teeny corner of a traffic light in a square and you can't decide if it counts or not 🤣

Christ yes! I think I overthink it esp the zebra crosssing one. Pondering is that a new square?

PointlessPoster · 12/01/2023 21:55

Ann at work today. Fuck you Ann, time for you to retire!!!!

bedtimestories · 12/01/2023 21:57

@Nachtvlinder you took the words right out of my mouth!

MrsHGWells · 12/01/2023 21:58

Heaving breathing, snoring, sniffing;
Performance parenting, shouty parents at football pitch; boasting in all forms, and seeking validation on social media; driving and leaving indicator light on mikes down the road;

SunshineLollipopsAndRainbows · 12/01/2023 22:03

Our surgery recorded message “ You are at queue position 14 in the queue” - where the hell else would you be?! God it makes me want to scream!

Warriormum1 · 12/01/2023 22:06

Adults queuing for, then eating ice cream cones in the street. You are forty five not ten! I realise this is completely irrational but I hate it!

People sitting down when chopping vegetables or cooking. I hate
it so much that if I see it on a tv show I have to look away!

People you don't know calling you Hunni - spelled this way!

Men who feel the need to push a pram with one hand, I always think they are trying to show how macho they are or are slightly embarrassed about pushing a pram.

People in a bank queue who leave a ridiculous space behind the person using the cash machine just to show how respectful they are to other people's privacy.

People who post on Facebook when someone famous dies, acting like they knew them personally. Your only relationship to David Bowie is the music you listened to, which is still readily available to you, so nothing has changed, and David Bowie didn't even know you existed, nor would he have given a shit if you had died!

Changerazelea · 12/01/2023 22:07

People.

Zone2NorthLondon · 12/01/2023 22:08

Yes the too cool for school dads who have one hand nonchalantly on buggy as if trying To disassociate self from the proximity to a pram with their child in it

Jomummy1013 · 12/01/2023 22:11

When socks get wet when you're trying to get ready and you tread on a random spillage...
When coat hangers tangle themselves together when you're trying to get something out the wardrobe.

SirB0bby · 12/01/2023 22:15

The wearing of dryrobes outside of their intended use. They have to be the most unflattering item of clothing ever and make most people look like they are wearing a wizards overcoat. I type this whilst wearing an Oodie (but at least I'm on my sofa and not in Tesco)Grin

My dog licking the air. He just sits there air-licking for fucking ages every evening. I often leave the room and let him get on with it. It really gives me the rage.

Drivers that don’t dim their brights when they come across other drivers. Assholes

SirB0bby · 12/01/2023 22:21

Oh and people who refer to, for example, "the below email" rather than "the rnail below"

SirB0bby · 12/01/2023 22:22

Sorry typo, meant instead of "the email below "!

You get mad at paying someone minimum wage to do your shopping for you?

Um no. I find it irritating that I order an article of clothing to collect from the store but I have to pay to collect it from said store

People.

Strongly agree

GlitteryGreen · 12/01/2023 22:24

Not really irrational, but people who use parent & child parking spaces without their child present.

It's so hard to get a young baby out of a car seat with no space to open the door properly and it pisses me off that people empty car seats - whi have obviously been there themselves - don't remember this and leave the spaces for those who genuinely need them.

Also people in flats who leave rubbish/bin bags outside in the communal hallway before taking to the bins instead of leaving them just inside their own door.

MrsJBaptiste · 12/01/2023 20:04

Catching your sleeve on a door handle - gets me immediately raging !

Yes, this is mine. Sometimes it's a pocket on a hoodie too. It makes me furious and then I'm stuck more instead of just removing myself from the handle.

hobbledyhoy · 12/01/2023 22:27

Dawdlers of all varieties - driving, walking, packing shopping bags etc. I'm perplexed how people can go through life that fucking slowly with apparently nowhere to be.

Inconsiderate parking - mainly by those who park in ridiculous areas such as junctions or right outside their house despite a huge car park less than a minutes walk away. Inconveniencing others due to their own laziness.

Those who stand and have a conversation in the middle of a thoroughfare or doorway, expecting the whole world to move around them.

Loud, unnecessary noises such as slamming doors and stomping about, why do you need to close your car door that loudly??

So it seems my problem is other people mainly.

GlitteryGreen · 12/01/2023 22:27

Also business phone lines which state "We are experiencing a higher volume of calls than normal so you may be waiting a while", or similar, but it's the same every time you call.

If it's always busier than normal then that is the new normal! Hire more staff!

Moonlightdust · 12/01/2023 22:28

My alarm clock. Snoring. Sucking teeth sound - urghh. The sound of the aeroplane chime bell dinging - I hate it. Any Lizzo songs. Toxic by Britney Spears. That new Pink song. Polystyrene being handled. Dripping of a tap. Strong wind.

OngoingCrisis · 12/01/2023 22:30

People that park on a bend

That’s exactly what I came on to say… it annoys me even thinking about it!

Um no. I find it irritating that I order an article of clothing to collect from the store but I have to pay to collect it from said store

Also just wanted to clarify that the clothing shop in question doesn't fulfil orders by using store stock, it just gets ordered in by customer services. So the employee isn't necessarily "doing my shopping for me"
