The recent changes to the use of the words gift and gifted. Nauseating. You GAVE someone something. Stop trying to make yourself seem like some philanthropist with amazing acts of largesse.

People who use the word gift/gifted instead of give/gave. I'm on a baby group and if someone can't make it instead of writing "I'd like to give my place to someone" they say "I'd like to gift the place to someone" for some reason it just really irritates it. It's like saying gift makes it sound like you are doing something wonderful, here have a gift.

Everything is a journey now, "my breastfeeding journey" 🤮, our trying to conceive JOURNEY, weaning journey, insert pretty much anything and it's a journey. No. You aren't going anywhere. You are breastfeeding, trying for a baby, weaning your baby, whatever. There is no journey to anywhere.
