Very funny, totally inappropriate, and yet insanely catchy.

That Thing You Do is my favourite fictional band song, it was written by Adam Schlesinger from the band Fountains of Wayne (of Stacey’s Mom fame), who also co-wrote the songs in Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, the best song from which is First Penis i Saw.

Schlesinger was such a good song writer, such a shame.

My favourite Crazy Ex-Girlfriend song is the reasonably serious Hey West Covina sung by Santino Fontana who has such a beautiful voice. Only found out recently that he was Prince Hans in Frozen.

Does tenacious D count? In which case ot has to be Tribute. Amazing song
