Mine was Langtrys in Beckenham. Absolute shit hole. We used to get in from 15 years old as the bouncers just asked for our date of birth and star sign! Would sneak bottles of wine in hidden in the lining of coats. Loads of weird, pervy men. Constant fights. I shudder to think of dd in that environment but 13yo me thought it was amazing.

Do you remember the test tube shots?! And the carpet was black with multicoloured lightning shapes! Loved it ha ha! It's called Bridge Bar now and one of the bouncers has honestly been there since 1998!!!

Kickers next to the Clifton Down shopping centre used to accept my dodgy St Brendans student union card without question. I looked about 12 as well. The place was full of dodgy old blokes and the toilets were horrible. I used to think it was posh though!

And back in the days when I thought I was a lesbian, and lived in Stoke Newington, I used to frequent Catch 22 [venereal diseases] in Turnpike Lane and Blush Bar just up towards Stamford. In hindsight, awful places, but so much of my youth is there in those walls.

Sneaky Pete's in Edinburgh. Even then we thought it was a shit hole.

Biddy Milligan's too. But that was a packed out pub rather than a club. Was religiously groped there too.

1995. Although I completed cocked up my A Levels as I hated the place and spent too much time in the pub or in the bowling place at Avonmeads.

Nero's in Ramsgate, Hades and La Gavroche in Margate and the Bridge Country Club near Canterbury. There were loads more in Kent in those days, but they were the ones I went to most.

I always wanted to go to Mr Smith’s in Warrington - it looked so glamourous to me when we drove past it as a child several times a week. It’s closed down now and I never did get to go…

A big night out was The Lyceum in the Strand on a Friday night with Greg Edwards DJ'ing 😂

Mr Smiths in Warrington. Tuesday was student night and Wednesday at college was a rough one.

SolViva in Bury. Heaven and Hell in Blackpool. I'm sure I went to Atlantis once, was that in the valley in Bolton?

Saturdays at Manhattans in Southport - was originally a Victorian swimming pool so it had a sunken dancefloor.
