Katie Price - another dog death

BobbyBobbyBobby · 26/11/2022 02:27

Pet Pomeranian Sharon allegedly escaped through a garden gate that had been left open and was later run over and taken by the driver to a vet but sadly had died.

Apparently this is the sixth pet under her ownership to die.

A horse was hit by a vehicle and died in 2017.

In 2018 her Alsatian Queenie was run over by a delivery driver and killed.

A chameleon called Marvin died after her children Princess and Junior went to stay with their father. It was reported that Marvin died of a broken heart.

In 2020 another Alsatian, Sparkle died after being hit by a car.

Also In 2020, French Bulldog Rolo was found dead after family’s nanny sat on the puppy after it dozed off under a chair when Katie illegally gave it vet prescription-only cannabis oil.

Another Alsatian called Bear had to be rehomed after it attacked other animals.

Losing one pet through unintentional carelessness is tragic but six pets losing their lives is unacceptable!

None of this is “sad”, it’s neglect and she shouldn’t have animals. Anyone who gives a shit about their pets would have been devastated by the first death and done everything possible to secure their premises so that the next pet wouldn’t get out and be run over. Reptiles don’t die of a “broken heart” ffs, she obviously neglected it when the kids left, so badly that it died. I have no sympathy for people who buy animals as though they’re objects and then let them suffer.

This, all of this.

anotherdayanotheralias · 26/11/2022 13:49

Whilst I agree she's a hot mess I had the impression that she'd been a loyal mother to Harvey .The father didn't want to know and she could have tried to wash her hands of her disabled son but hasn't. Or is some of that a PR thing? I'm not defending the other stuff, I just wonder about all that.

The animals though - how dreadful. She should be ashamed and banned from keeping animals.

SusanPerbCallMeSue · 26/11/2022 13:52

She's horrible. Can't take care of animals or children.

I'm sure I have ADHD (diagnosed autistic already, my son is also autistic with ADHD) and I know my executive functioning is shit so the only pet I have is a cat, as I know taking care of animals that need regular walking/cleaning is too much for me. Much as I'd love to have a whole menagerie I know I couldn't cope and it wouldn't be fair on the animals.

I don't feel sorry for her at all, just for her kids and the animals, and her ex's and their new partners as she's vile to them (revenge porn, restraining orders etc)

Yes they do she advertises for clinic hub a Turkish company that has killed and botched a lot of people. Horrible should be illegal to be paid to advertise for medical tourism. They arent regulated by the GMC or NMC.

Who on earth would think she was a good advert for surgery?

who would want to look like her?
she looks awful.
and very old without filters.

tabulahrasa · 26/11/2022 13:54

I mean it’s still too many pets - but the dog run over by a delivery driver was on her property at the time and anyone giving CBD oil to dogs is doing it illegally... and it doesn’t make them drowsy, that’s kind of the point of it.

Moonlightdust · 26/11/2022 13:56

It’s disgusting. She should not be allowed to care for animals through negligence.

TrashyPanda · 26/11/2022 13:59

PrincessScarlett · 26/11/2022 13:36

The tabloids will never drop her like a brick as the delight in her downfall and it's become a vicious circle

Are there any people who would not welcome this habitual drink driver actually getting treated the same as anyone else next time she is caught?

she isn’t a victim

her children are her victims
as he4 pets and her creditors

LilyPotter · 26/11/2022 14:00

It was never proven that it was a delivery driver. I believe that the company concerned said they made no deliveries in that location that day.
Everything Katie says/posts about her life is smoke and mirrors. She makes outlandish claims and then nothing more is heard about them once they're refuted.
She believes there will always be people around who still believe she is a great mum. Yes, she had Harvey on her own but her claim that she's had no help with him is just a lie. Her mum was paid by Dwight Yorke to care for him and Katie employed a long line of nannies and babysitters. I don't have a problem with that, to be fair - just own it though.
I DO have a problem with people criticising her age and looks though. Whilst it is unacceptable (I believe) to use filters on ads for beauty products, she can't help her age.

Eightiesgirl · 26/11/2022 14:00

I think she has deep rooted mental health issues and I do feel sorry for her. I think her family think the same, you can tell her poor, sick, mum is very worried about her and what will happen to her when she's gone. I think men have used her since she was young. They've used her as a stepping stone to fame and money, then dumped her. Then that strange marriage to Alex Reid and his female alter ego can't have helped. She seems to go from one disaster to another and she has totally destroyed her once beautiful face. She obviously can't look after her animals properly and someone should stop her from getting any more. I feel sorry for her children and her pets, she probably loves them to bits but doesn't seem capable of looking after them. I hope she gets the help she needs. It may not be a popular opinion but I've always liked her.

JackTorrance · 26/11/2022 14:01

Very pretty woman??

Tbf she was, and I'm sure still would be had she had a different lifestyle and not messed with herself.
I didn't know about the animals, that's really awful. I did read that she was raped by a stranger as a young girl so I wonder if her whole life has been affected by that including the very sexualised behaviour and the chaos.
Not that her children or pets, or other road users should be at risk of course, I'm absolutely not justifying that.

mam0918 · 26/11/2022 14:01

How on earth do so many of her pets get run over?

Now yes pets should be contained but wild animals can't be so you are suppose to always be on the look out for hazzards like that.

Part of your driving test and a key part of your theory is to look out for these things... now of course accidents CAN happen but 3 in as many years? Its not that common to hit large domestic animals especially something as big as a fucking horse (how do you NOT see that, I live in the country in areas where we sometime have free roaming livestock and even on winding back road with little visability you drive slow because you know there could be a horse/sheep/cow around any corner).

But yes thats a long list of dead pets and they shouldn't be escaping but even an escaped pet doesnt have the high a 'road accident' rate but no she really shouldn't be getting more.

soulinablackberrypie · 26/11/2022 14:06

I don't like her or her lifestyle, and some of these deaths could be attributed to neglect, but I don't buy the idea that all of them must be. Anyone over the age of about 20 who has had 6 pets has probably had 6 pets die, unless they keep giant tortoises or some kinds of parrots. We don't know, from the details in the OP, whose fault it was that the horse or the other two dogs were killed by cars, or even what really happened to the chameleon - presumably they sometimes die of simple heart attacks or old age. I just kind of feel that there are enough definite, provable things to criticise without having to think up nebulous ones based on speculation.

She lives right next to a busy A road dual carriageway, I drive past weekly. Which is why after the first time she should have made bloody sure there was no way for any of her animals to escape.

ShepherdMoons · 26/11/2022 14:14

I think there is definitely something undiagnosed with Katie Price, either it's past trauma or some mental health condition. She veers from drama to drama and really needs to just look after herself. She shouldn't be allowed to keep pets, her children are older now I think and at least a bit more aware of dangers.

BobbyBobbyBobby · 26/11/2022 14:15

Dogs have to be registered to one person on their microchip.

KP appears to be the registered owner which makes her ultimately responsible for the care of the animal.

For all we know she may make sure doors and gates are shut to keep her dogs safe but we have all seen he on many trips abroad and presenting tv shows which means her pets are either left alone or in the car of others.

It is her duty to ensure that when she leaves the house that the pets are responsibly supervised.

I believe that when a pet dies and she is not there she doesn’t take responsibility and just dismisses it as being someone else’s fault. That’s why she is so blase about replacing each dead pet with another one.

Unless she is paying someone to specifically take care of her animals in her absence, then she shouldn’t be allowed to keep them.

Massive ego, desperate for attention and the realisation she is now of an age where her face and figure are not as desirable so her career is now based on shocking behaviour and going down the popular celebrity route of claiming depression/anxiety etc to garner sympathy.

I’m not surprised she can’t look after pets. She can hardly look after her self.

I said she looks a lot older than she is.

which is considerably younger than me. I’m not criticising someone because of her age - but because of all her plastic surgery, which is deforming her face. it certainly doesn’t make her look any younger.

she actively promotes her plastic surgery, so why shouldn’t people comment on the results? You can hardly ignore them.

maybe seeing the results of multiple plastic surgeries for purely cosmetic reasons might actually serve as a warning?

it’s totally different to facial surgeries because of medical need. My friends son has Treacher Collins syndrome and endured many surgeries.

Yes, the mucky mansion drive is literally a slip road off a fast A road dual carriageway. It’s another reason the house struggles to sell whenever she or her creditors attempt to flog it (along with the fact that it is derelict). We all have a responsibility to secure our boundaries and/or ensure our pets are trained appropriately but it is especially important when you live in such a dangerous location.

Windbeneathmybingowings · 26/11/2022 14:31

“Having to make that phone call to my daughter was the worst thing in the world," she said. "Because I don't want to make her heartbroken, she's literally been heartbroken twice for something she's genuinely fallen in love with. She doted on that dog.”

this was her talking about Rolo. I understood he got caught under the chair and suffocated.

she calls the dog something. he was an object to her.

And the issue with this is that if she wasn’t Katie Price she wouldn’t have a driving license either. She has no concept of safe driving, doesn’t buckle in her kids, drives drunk, drives banned, hits people and gets away with it, so watching the road is the least of her concerns.

Sandra1984 · 26/11/2022 14:35

@Vigneau Where is all this money coming from? What is the source of her income.

I believe she has a very successful Only fans account that is giving her some juicy $$$. It’s a smart business move for someone like her. I suspect mental health issues, addiction and body dismorphia are a constant in her life. She also seems to be good at selling her personal dramas to the tabloids which I’m sure she’s spilitting the money with the paparazzi and photographers she hires. She’s known to call photographers every time she’s lying in the sun with a new tattoo, having plastic surgery or having a stroll with a new beau. Business savvy she has proven to be. I do believe those kids and pets have been neglected. This is someone whose made a career out of the circus that is her dysfunctional life. She used to be a very pretty girl but her body modifications are getting ridiculous by the minute. She’s starting to look like a monster and you can see she’s addicted to it and it’s only going to get worse as she ages. I really hope she’s happy but those people with body dismorphia they never are.

CatsAreAlwaysCute · 26/11/2022 14:35

I've followed her career for years, and I used to be a huge fan. I just can't support her anyone sadly.

I also think that she has undiagnosed autism.

Well yes, of course all pets die eventually but I'd suggest that more die of old age related issues or get sick than being killed in accidents.

LilyPotter · 26/11/2022 14:42

She is hardly making anything on OnlyFans (compared to what some are or what might be expected). She doesn't appear to understand what subscribers on that site require. She thinks they want to pay for content about her life and apparently posts 90s style Page 3 "tame" (for Only Fans) content.
