Honestly, nothing weird, I am genuinely a lover of interior design. I am that person who watches all the house reno shows! I'm the person that has the interior design insta account. It's simply a passion of mine and I would definitely have better if I could afford it.

I'd show you mine but the state of it would make Tracey Emin blush! We've just had the loft done and have everything out of there waiting to go back up, along with Amazon boxes full of Christmas presents waiting to be wrapped, piled up everywhere.

Ahh thanks for this. Needed to read this. I always see all the insta type homes and it just makes me feel like i should be better. And then reading this made me think of all the happy memories I have in our home. So it's not super clean, the most aesthetic and hinch worthy but we certainly do have a lot of good memories. You have really just put things into perspective. Thank you!! ❤️

In fairness to the St Johns Wood post, perhaps we do have oligarchs and tech billionaires posting on here?

This is mine right now… I’m in bed. Mumsnet hates them but an en-suite and a tv… it’s a new loft room… sleeping DH and a rail as no wardrobes or storage!
