Here is our room. I love cool colours of blue, grey and white.
This also features upcycled orange pine in the chests of drawers and wardrobe.

@stuntbubbles Thank you so much. I don't have all that but my DH does and I'm sure I can figure it out when he's out and about . I've been asking him to do it but he can't be arsed. Am so looking forward to covering those damn vertical blinds. ( I may DM you as you seem to know what you are talking about! ).

The wallpaper is only on one wall behind the bed. Other walls are plain in a very pale duck egg blue - otherwise I’d find it a pattern overload 🤣

They still have it in Dunelm. I only redecorated last year.

Here's mine. It's a sofa bed and the wallpaper was a little expensive but sooooo worth it!

Thanks I will look into that. I was keen on curtains but blinds may be a good option as the sun is terrible in the morning. ( waking at 6 here, bloody hell and damnation).

Some beautiful rooms here and also some that give me the heebie jeebies.

I think the nicest rooms are clean, tidy and have barely anything in them with all the storage hidden nicely away. The features in period properties here are gorgeous. I also think that lighting is a huge thing, the ones with exposed light bulbs from basic shades don’t seem very relaxing at all. And random clothing rails / piles of stuff on the bedside table / wires everywhere doesn’t do it for me.

onlyjoinedforthis I’ve been wishing I could paint our pine drawers exactly like yours! Rubbish at diy (not helped by the arthritis). How difficult is it ? where do you begin? :/ love the room and view.

I don't want to share a picture but imagine a small mid terrace house, wallpaper peeling off where there was a leak, super old carpet we can't afford to replace. The ENTIRE ROOM is bed, cos it's a tiny room and bed is pretty much the only thing that fits in. Small bedside table. Telly on the wall. Bed never made. Piles on laundry that will never get sorted on the bed, or on the floor if I've slept in the bed and they've fallen off.
