Boy George. What an absolute tool

That’s it really. Total and utter twat.

OP posts:
Cam22 · 10/11/2022 11:51

As for Boy George, he of the stupid name, he is exactly as described in the thread title. I find him creepy especially given what we know of his grubby past. I wonder what we don’t know?

ReneBumsWombats · 10/11/2022 11:53

Why is he even there?? Surely he and his wife don't need the money!

ReneBumsWombats · 10/11/2022 11:53

Tindall, I mean.

Sparklingbrook · 10/11/2022 12:07

There’s been quite a few very wealthy slebs do reality shows not for the money. They don’t need the money. They just want the experience probably. They don’t need to worry about taking a month off work or whether it furthers their career.

RangerHamzaHasTheRangeDarling · 10/11/2022 12:08

On adjacent thread, the Tindalls lost £ from Covid, not being able to make appearances allegedly, but unless asset-rich and cash-poor, it does seem a bit strange he needs to go the reality show route.

I think Owen, whilst coming across as a Joey mark two, seems sweet enough to win it or come second to Lioness football lass, Jill.

Cannot see Matt without humming the Shaggy meme
The Sun newspaper caught me red-handed
Creeping with the Tory next door
It wasn't me
Said she wanted
Some of that Matt HanCock
Banging on my Downing Street door
How could I forget
I wasn't wearing any PPE
Though she hasn't had her vaccination
She got a little prick from me

George is coming across as somewhat hypocritical/divaish.
Sue was fake as when she had a face like thunder then smiley Hi Love, hugging MH.
Talking of heroin addiction, Seann Walsh's Edinburgh show this year revealed a childhood in a house without a table, with a father always high or coming down.
(His father was a heroin addict and has only recently got clean).
It does not excuse Seann's emotional abuse/gaslighting of his ex - but it does explain why he is screwed up.
He has a baby on the way and is also doing this for the £/a redemption arc.
I posted his show Kiss from you tube - it is enlightening as to his anxiety, mental state and need to be liked.
That's really the thing, isn't it? We are all fallible. We all want to be heroes in our own stories. That's why I think either Owen or Jill will win - they seem the most decent without skeletons or harder sides to them.

The experience of having the public show its loathing of you by voting for you to eat kangaroo testicles and get showered in spiders?

Is Christmas at Buckingham Palace so bad that you long to try that?

I can believe they might not be quite as wealthy as we all imagine, but I can't believe that this was the best way they could possibly stump up a few post-pandemic quid.

And Ant and Dec are tools too. Wouldn’t watch if you paid me.

Agreed.

piesforever · 10/11/2022 12:48

Hancock has blood on his hands

karenjkayjay · 10/11/2022 13:51

Awww no I love boy George although his teeth are annoying me

Buttonjugs · 10/11/2022 13:56

I like him. He behaved badly years ago when he was addicted to drugs but he has paid his debt to society for that, so let’s move on. It was years ago. I find him articulate, intelligent and very interesting and also fun. I would have also been very uncomfortable to discover that I was expected to share the jungle with Matt Hancock. I would also, as a fellow vegetarian, want more control over the preparation of my meal. He’s not a twat at all. Just the opposite.

Totally agree. He’s probably more self aware and done more self development work than most if not all others in that camp. Including Ant and Dec

Agree. I don’t think Owen’s lack of brains is an act. He seems like a sweet rather dim man. However he’s a genuine person , or seems so.

Maybe that's the real bushtucker trial.

Ninananna · 10/11/2022 15:08

They are all in it for the money no matter how wealthy they might be. Much wants more.

Carlycat · 10/11/2022 15:21

He's a wanker who bleats about mens trans rights over women safe spaces 😡

Who are you talking about now? This thread mentions loads of the people on IACGMOOH.

Cam22 · 10/11/2022 15:52

The saintly Boy George?

RangerHamzaHasTheRangeDarling · 10/11/2022 16:00

Lots of gay men support trans rights. Many have trans friends or compare transphobia with homophobia, so want to be allies. Not being pansexual afaik, it would be interesting what he thinks about genital preferences though. That said, being an ally doesn't make him a wanker per se unless you have a quote, which slates women.

Sparklingbrook · 10/11/2022 16:02

Why describe him as 'saintly' nobody on the thread has said he's a saint.

RangerHamzaHasTheRangeDarling · 10/11/2022 16:04

www.them.us/story/boy-george-keeps-saying-stupid-things-about-trans-people

He must have done a U turn then because here, he seems very much against pronouns and pandering to them.

RangerHamzaHasTheRangeDarling · 10/11/2022 16:11

"Trans people are not a threat to women or female spaces. All the trans women I know carry themselves with grace and respect for the goddess energy."
Deleted tweet. I don't think that makes him Satan. He just needed "The majority of" in front (although there you can argue that predators acting in bad faith/looking for loopholes to gain access to women are not trans in the first place so that small minority does not tally with his lived reality).

LovelyIssues · 10/11/2022 16:41

I reslly like him

What do you 'love' about him? The fact he tied up a rent boy and beat him with a metal chain and was imprisoned? Or the fact he was caught in NY attempting burglary? Or the fact even after doing the above he has showed absolutely no remorse for the victim?

limitedperiodonly · 11/11/2022 20:58

I agree with you @Venetiaparties. I've seen this on other sites. People have very short memories or they say: "But it was a long time ago," and best of all "no-one died, my daughter is a nurse and but Covid."

That makes it okay then. If a man (6ft 2ins and 18st at the time) had stripped them, tied them to a radiator, beat them and made them fear rape or death they'd think it was all right if people wanted to raise this unrepentant person to National Treasure status first on The Voice and now on IACGMOOH.
