Don’t be fooled by the grey exterior, inside is a riot of colour and the garden is amazing.

Does the kitchen have 2 sinks? Why would you need 2 sinks?

Bold decor, I couldn't live with it but I don't hate it

BatshitCrazyWoman · 15/10/2022 05:42

I like the garden - the interior is a bit cluttered for my taste. I live in London and think it's very reasonably priced 😂

BOOTS52PollyPrissyPants · 15/10/2022 05:45

Lovely house but the intoxicating decor would have me vomiting with a massive migraine. Too much stuff everywhere, like a bad trip.

feelingfree17 · 15/10/2022 05:57

Had to stop looking
Made me feel very agitated

PurplePositivity · 15/10/2022 06:00

Another one who loves it!

The only thing I'd change is the bathroom, that's just a bit too much for me.

girlmom21 · 15/10/2022 06:03

Oh god no. It's a beautiful house - as in the building itself - but the decor is ghastly. I'd never feel relaxed in that house.

NCAutumn · 15/10/2022 06:04

Once all the furniture is out and the various bits of random shite it'll look very dated, dusty and worn.

The kitchen is rubbish, imagine trying to cook a Christmas dinner in there, there's no work surface.

The bathroom is minging. I can't see the floor of the bathroom, hope it's not carpet 🤢

The hallway with its red ceiling? Ew no.

The garden is awful. Smelly pond and looks like it would be a magnet for flies.

Nope. Not for me whatsoever.

Me too. I started writing to-do lists in my head of everything that would need doing to make it less migraine-inducing and got very stressed by it all.

Crikeyalmighty · 15/10/2022 06:14

Absolutely gives me the creeps

Mummyoflittledragon · 15/10/2022 06:22

It’s all a bit fur coat and no knickers. The bathroom is ancient, the kitchen almost non existent and by the placement of some of the ceiling lights, I imagine it hasn’t been rewired for a long time. This would make me question how long ago it was replumbed. The only radiator slightly visible is the one in the room with the cerise pink sofa, behind the screen and painted green.

ChiaraRimini · 15/10/2022 06:34

It's very Lawrence Llewelyn Bowen/Changing Rooms. High camp but as a PP
said done on the cheap.

AnightwiththeTiger · 15/10/2022 06:44

Wow! I want to be best friends with the owner! Thank God there are people who are able to use their home as an expression of themselves and as a canvas instead of identikit Hinched grey-beige! I’m amazed the owner is selling - there is so much of themselves in it, it will be a terrible wrench.

AutumnalLeaves38 · 15/10/2022 06:48

I believe Liz Truss did something similar inside no10.

scrivette · 15/10/2022 06:48

It's fabulous although I am not keen on the bathroom as much.

Makes a nice change from all the grey in the properties near me on Right Move.

Parmesam · 15/10/2022 06:53

I think this is houses should be. Full of character.

ChakaKhanfan · 15/10/2022 06:56

It’s too much to live in- imagine the headaches, but nice to admire and look at for a short period of time 😂

NormalForNuneaton · 15/10/2022 06:57

I'd love to have a mooch round there. So many interesting bits and pieces that I'd like to see close up!

sandgrown · 15/10/2022 06:58

@ultrablue My auntie had that picture . When my kids were little they thought it was a picture of me as I had long dark hair!

megletthesecond · 15/10/2022 07:02

The garden is lovely but the house needs stripping and painting white.

Dave20 · 15/10/2022 07:07

I’ve lived in Hastings for five years. House prices have significantly gone up.
However that house seems very expensive. No parking space either.

My mums 3 bed extended semi in a sought after suburb of London went for 625k last year. I can’t see that house being worth 700k.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 15/10/2022 07:11

It's a fabulous house, that looks like it hasn't been decorated since about 1990. It would have right on point then!

Changechangychange · 15/10/2022 07:16

I love it! I couldn’t live in it (I’m also way too untidy to keep it looking that beautiful), but would love to stay for a couple of days.

It would be a fabulous Airbnb or boutique hotel.

Onegingerhead · 15/10/2022 07:22

Bathroom is lovely so is the garden. The rest is just too much

ChessieFL · 15/10/2022 07:23

Love it, couldn’t live in it!

It's definitely been in the media before. It's been changed around a bit since this article but I think it's the same house.
