For starters:

Joe Cocker
Sheryl Crow
Bono

OP posts:
PauliesWalnuts · 09/10/2022 17:49

Ariana Grande
Mariah Carey
Minnie Ripperton

i can’t stand really high women’s voices. Or Kylie Minogue’s nasally voice.

lemonyfox · 09/10/2022 17:49

Sam Smith, Jessie J and Kelly Clarkson. They all hit such high, shrill notes that it makes me start feeling angry and itchy listening to them.

ihatesoaps · 09/10/2022 17:50

Jess Glynne - awful voice

lemonyfox · 09/10/2022 17:50

Also I agree with PPs about Jess Glynn, that awful warbling she does like she's sat on top of a washing machine on a spin cycle...

ZittiEBuoni · 09/10/2022 17:51

I'd forgotten about Joe Cocker. I can't listen to that AWFUL version of A Little Help From My Friends, ugh.

Anyone who sings with too much melisma or pathetic breathy girly voices.

Kernowgirlie · 09/10/2022 17:51

Jess Glynne

Her voice is so nasally. It's awful.

She sounds like a sheep being strangled.

shedwithivy · 09/10/2022 17:51

Lewis capaldi (though a very nice bloke)
Sam smith
Adele
James blunt
Is it the following who sing "wherever you will go"?

All Get switched over in my car

Kernowgirlie · 09/10/2022 17:52

So glad others agree.

I genuinely do not understand how she's famous for singing

bellac11 · 09/10/2022 17:52

Barry White
Cilla Black
Joe Cocker
Bruce Springseen
Those awful breathy, baby voiced type of singers (dont know any names they all blend into one)

I was going to say she sounds like a goat with a blocked nose 🤣

JamSandle · 09/10/2022 17:53

Beyonce

Adele

Christina Aguilera

Rihanna

JenniferWooley · 09/10/2022 17:53

Miles Cyrus - watched a Dolly Parton thing she was on last night & she sounded like I do when I'm deliberately trying to annoy/embarrass DS with my crap singing!

blinkingtelly · 09/10/2022 17:53

Chris Martin...very talented performer but he sounds like he's got a permanent cold.

RavenT · 09/10/2022 17:54

Ellie Goulding
Adele
Jess Glynn
Ed Sheeran

bigblueyonder · 09/10/2022 17:55

Celine Dion
Adele
Jess Glynne
Sam Smith

ellieboolou · 09/10/2022 17:56

Billy Elish not sure how to spell her name but my god her songs made me want to give up!

Wiglio · 09/10/2022 17:56

Sarah Brightman, twee, ugh

Iamclearlyamug · 09/10/2022 17:57

Sam smith - his dreadful whiny voice just kills me.

That and the fact he can't decide whether he's a bloke or a woman 🤷‍♀️

Handsnotwands · 09/10/2022 17:57

I don’t know what made Jess Glynn think that singing was the career for her. I’m convinced she must be the offspring of someone with connections.

PuppyMonkey · 09/10/2022 17:58

Elton John since about 1990 when his previously pleasant voice went completely. Now he just grunts loudly and goes waaaaah.

I always hated the way Amy Winehouse put on a terrible fake American accent. Put me off her completely.

CuriousCatfish · 09/10/2022 17:41

Mel C

Thank you! I can't believe it when people say she was the only spice girl who could actually sing. I can't bear her voice.

NellesVilla · 09/10/2022 17:59

Cheryl Cole. An embarrassment quite frankly. Beautiful but terrible voice.
Chris Martin- yuck.
Ellie Goulding- even worse.

Just imagine them singing together. I’d pay them to stop.

Selena Gomez- can’t really sing. Also Jamie Lynn Spears. And Cheryl Cole- have to mention how awful she is again.

MollyRover · 09/10/2022 17:59

Miley Cyrus

RainbowConnection1 · 09/10/2022 17:59

Kate Bush!!
