Another vote for Lost in Translation.

Broken Flowers, still have no idea what it was about or if it reached a conclusion.

Meet Joe Black, most boring film I’ve ever seen.

Indiana2021 · 30/09/2022 08:59

Never Let Me Go -I wasn't aware of the novel and hadn't really looked into the storyline.
I was drained after watching it and felt like lying in a darkened room for a week.

Sharknado.

I've seen all 6! Yes 6! Bloody awful films but it was like we couldn't stop watching ....

Not seen the film but the most awful book I've ever read.

Birdemic, hands down. It's just so sooo bad. I really can't imagine the director watching the final cut and saying "Yes, this is exactly what I intended!"

@OnTheRunWithMannyMontana I watched half of Doomsday on Netflix and gave up because it was just so awful. Every now and again it comes up in my "Continue Watching" list and nope. Just nope. You can't viciously murder Sean Pertwee like that and expect me to continue watching!

10 years later and I'm still traumatised!

mrsDracoMalfoy · 30/09/2022 09:03

OLD
(stranded in a beach and get old super fast) bloody awful film.

LadyEloise1 · 30/09/2022 09:10

Intermission
It starred Cillian Murphy, Colin Farrell and Colm Meaney and Kelly Mc Donald but it was still sh*te.
DH and DD1 still comment ( negatively) on me recommending we go see it.
The reviews were great. 🙄

Gemzee · 30/09/2022 09:12

No one has said Open Water yet. Literally nothing happens. Dull.

Subbaxeo · 30/09/2022 09:13

Beautiful with Javier Bardem. In a trendy Liverpool cinema, it was the worst date film I’ve ever seen. A man with cancer with graphic examples of his suffering, neglected kids and worst of all, immigrant workers killed by faulty gas heaters-again, graphic displays. I went to the loo afterwards and saw my haunted reflection in the face of another woman waiting there. I mumbled an excuse to my bemused date about having to get home. He’s now my DH!

Billybagpuss · 30/09/2022 09:17

To be fair it’s probably an ok film but the one that annoyed me the most was Nicole Kidmans Australia. It’s about herding cows and all the way through they used ‘sheep may safely graze’ as backing track music. SHEEP not COWS it still gives me the rage.

SpringIntoChaos · 30/09/2022 09:18

Oh god yes..@Gemzee 🤣 Open Water!! The most boring film in the world 🥱

Whoever thought that 2 hours of two people floating around doing not much else, was entertaining (much less 'horror') was bonkers!

cookiecreammmpie · 30/09/2022 09:19

The Robert films. So shit they are quite funny at first but that becomes tedious.

kingtamponthefurred · 30/09/2022 09:22

The Blair Witch Project. Most boring thing I have ever seen.

SquirrelFan · 30/09/2022 09:30

Natural Born Killers
Mars Attacks
Diana (2013)
Clouds of Sils Maria

knittingaddict · 30/09/2022 09:32

Steven Seagall film On Deadly Ground. It was probably 20 years ago, so can't remember much about it. We abandoned it after 30 minutes or so and I'm not a film snob, so must have been dreadful.

slowquickstep · 30/09/2022 09:33

3 amigos, truly the worst film ever

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 30/09/2022 09:33

Avatar. I feel like they owe me for being stuck on a plane watching that piece of shite.

Also Death Note with Willem Dafoe. He must have been short of money when he agreed to that.
At the time, my ex was stalking my Netflix usage and watching everything I'd watched. I rated it 5 stars so he'd watch it. He changed his password immediately after watching this crap.

mogtheexcellent · 30/09/2022 09:34

We loved doomsday. Had a film night at uni watching it. Mind you we were all pissed Grin

worst film at cinema was AI. I was taking my 10yo brother and he saw a friend in the queue so i ended up siting on my own after paying for them both.

PuttingDownRoots · 30/09/2022 09:39

Dog Soldiers. Just seemed to be gore for ake of gore.

PopsicleHustler · 30/09/2022 09:44

The one with Mel Gibson, who had to hide in his basement from aliens. And in the end all they had to do was chuck glasses of water over the alien that broke into the house and stuck its fingernails into a young boys chest as he had an asthma attack. Very bizarre and ridiculous. They had random glasses of water around the lounge and everyone just started picking them up and throwing them over the alien, until he died or something.

The human caterpillar. A really sicko film. Who thinks that up, sewing peoples mouths to bottoms and forcing them to poo and eat dog food.....

The village. Apparently set in like the late 1800s, Where, whatever her name is, goes in search of medicine for Joaquin Phoenix through the woods, and she is blind BTW to be told the reason why they never are allowed to leave the village is because there are monsters , that live in the forest so we cannot go past the forest to other towns. Anyway she decides she loves Joaquin so much , even blind she will go through the woods to get him medicine after he was stabbed by another guy who loves the girl also , where it turns out there are no Monsters. And it is actually the elders of the village, dressed up in a costume and a cloak, to scare anyone from leaving as they want to keep everyone else there. She managed to scramble over a massive hedge and wall where she flags down a park ranger in a car, who takes her to a cabin, and let's her have the medicine. And its like 2006. Silly film.

Also hate films with detailed rape and sex scenes are also gross and brutal violence and so on , who even thinks these up.

The maze runner, first film was quite good. The other two, absolutely terrible.

I quite like the green mile but some scenes are extremely hard to watch.

Dollydea · 30/09/2022 09:45

Ladybird - still to this day don't understand the rave reviews it got, honestly the most boring movie I've ever seen.

pinkyredrose · 30/09/2022 09:45

Swept Away. It's astonishing how bad it is.

maybeiamjustnotnice · 30/09/2022 09:47

Boxing Helena

Rookie93 · 30/09/2022 09:47

Troy was definitely a turkey of the first order and I managed to go to the Premier. That was a clue. Birdman was another,a relative raved about it and think it won an Oscar, it was truly dreadful muddled garbage to me.

gyarados · 30/09/2022 09:48

@TheMildManneredMilitant - Have you tried Killer Sofa?
