What's in your car boot?

Mine needs sorting out big time so thought I'd share:

Kids bucket and spade.
3 bags of out of date crisps.
A dog toy.
Electric tyre pump.
A foil turkey tray (unused)
A fur throw.
Unopened dog food pouch.

Loads of stuff to take to charity shop (which I never have time to do)

A body.... Ssh.. Only joking 😁

A double buggy and a suction unit.

So much white Spaniel hair, the guys at the car wash always charge us extra to clean it 😂

Dog first aid kit that we've never used, will probably never use, and are not even sure we know how to use. Of course, no human first aid kit.

Eco bags, which we always forget to take into the shop. That is, unless we've forgotten to put them in the car in the first place, which is 80% likely.

Dog toys and water guns we used one summer and will probably never use again

Car stuff - windscreen wash, etc.

We keep saying we need to keep things in the car for when it gets cold. Like gloves, shoes to drive home in after muddy hikes, spare hoodies, etc. Guarantee we'll say it another 127 times over the next 6 months and never actually do any of this.

Forgot jump leads and a torch. Oh and my Equilight hat!

Blimey, some of you are really organised - am noting down a few things that would probably be a good idea to have to hand (re breakdowns etc).

Sadly, the one thing that’s missing from my boot is my giant breed dog. I got my last car purely for the dog, but she’s now passed away. For health reasons, it’s unlikely I’ll have a dog again, so no more hair in the boot and nose smudges on the back window 😢

I’ve now gone for a slightly smaller car with a smaller boot as it’s a convertible. Current boot has 3 large and one medium shopping bags. Plus a pashmina/wrap for my mum - because when I drive her to her medical appointments she wants the roof down all the time. She’s absolutely loving it, and it brings a smile to my face how much she’s enjoying something completely new.

Way too many shopping bags which still doesn’t stop me having to buy some in the supermarket as I often wander round the shops before heading to the supermarket, jump leads and a bottle of red wine for when I find myself at a BYO restaurant and there are no bottle shops nearby. I replace the wine when I have it 😁
