A dog toy.

A shitload of sand from our holiday to the North west coast of Scotland last week 🤦🏻‍♀️

thecathaszerobrains · 24/09/2022 11:37

An IKEA bag with last weekends revolting woods walk wellies in it.

Plenty of sand from the last time we were at the beach

Half a bag of bird food

Vom box with disposable gloves, kitchen roll, urine neutraliser spray (also v. good for cleaning vomit), bin bags, soluble laundry sacks for revolting clothing, fresh clothing, wet wipes, bottle of water, scrubbing brush and the old travel potty and liners- makes a really good vom bowl for the youngest who's a puker extraordinare. I've learnt the hard way to carry a full clean up kit as well.

Car things box with first aid kit, spare light bulbs, ice scrapers, de ice spray, emergency triangle e.t.c

Spare charging lead for the car.

Football that's been in there too long and is half deflated.

Right now, a man.

(He’s cleaning it for me!)

Underscore21 · 24/09/2022 15:27

Just shopping bags normally.
I keep it clear routinely, transporting stuff around unnecessarily uses up the petrol.

TattiePants · 24/09/2022 15:33

I went to put a large supermarket shop in the boot yesterday to discover its full of the shit DH cleared out of the garage to take to the tip 3 WEEKS ago! So my boot is full of 2 split paddling pools, multiple old lights that DH thought would come in handy (but of course didn’t), tins off paint, rubble, a camping toilet…..

Usually it’s shopping bags and a first aid kit.

TCMolly · 24/09/2022 15:34

Jump leads, cat biscuits and shopping bags.

Alltheleavesarefalling · 24/09/2022 15:58

2 large packs of Rav horse bedding (but for chickens)
Pair of gloves
Packet of Opel fruits stuck to the side of the wheel arch (just found them) under a pile of shopping bags
My fav scarf I thought I had lost

Car goes for its MOT next week so cleaning the boot!

What is not in my car boot?!

Highlights currently include an axe head with no handle, spare clothes, a basket of apples, half a 5litre container of disinfectant, silver and gold spray paint, an enamel mug, air compressor, minestrone cuppa soups, assorted rope, a foam mat, a pallet braker and I'm only just scraping the surface.

If I ever take anything out however, in will immediately need it on my next journey.

Sgtmajormummy · 24/09/2022 20:18

We’re going away for 36hrs tomorrow and I’ve already packed the boot with:
