Silent sex

I'm dating someone new, we've done everything up to PIV sex. They seem to be having a good time, but honestly he is so totally silent when we do anything.

It's so weird. I make a normal amount of noise, but it's starting to make me feel a bit self conscious.

Does anyone have any tips/advice?

My DH is totally totally silent
He says he is enjoying it when we talk about it. I have told him I feel as though I am doing it wrong and he assures me I am not. I have asked him to make noise but he just doesn't/can't during.
I am used to it now

I would feel self conscious too! Maybe he’s holding back a bit? Focusing on making it last longer? The only way to know is to ask.

You want the right balance between the sound if enjoyment against the stupid noises from porn films.

As a slight aside, it reminds me of a camping trip many years ago. There was a German couple in a tent nearby. They used to get down to it regularly around 11:00 pm each night and were so loud. People in other tents used to clap and cheer as she finished 😂! They used to cycle everyday. It made me consider treating myself to a bike.

Just to clarify there isn't even a sharp in take of breathe, or much change to his breathing. Which is what I'm more used to.

It feels odd.
