Not a super high end, bougie, oxygen bar and a personal chef style hotel.

just your standard, premier inn + style.

mine is plug points near the fucking bed.

I’m currently hanging off the edge of the bed on an attempt to chill and do some work 🙃

A vault like Winston had in John wick.

Aircon that you can switch totally off, not just turn down. Window that open.

When I last stayed away from home the en suite shower wouldn’t work and there were no instructions. The proprietor was 5,000 miles away so I couldn’t ask him for help. Lucky I was animal sitting for DS, not in a hotel!

My parents had a b&b/hotel and they actually did this when they built an extension
Bed that could be separated, wheelchair accessible bathroom, disabled parking space outside and it connected to a second room for family/carer to stay as well
Was v popular

This sounds perfect!

A comfy chair to curl up and read for a while, rather than having to sit on the bed.

Soundproofing.

And please don't tuck the sheets in so tightly that I can't get into bed, and then when I've managed that the sheets only come up to my chest unless I untuck the bottom end and shift them upwards. Just why?

ah the bed for Flat Stanley! Nothing annoys me more!!

I don't want a random spare bed in the room, I've read/seen Oh Whistle and I'll Come to You.

We stayed in a hotel in Italy for a couple of nights that was really dated and the corridor looked like something out of The Shining. It had an institutional looking set of bunkbeds next to ours and DH picked the side away from them. I did not sleep very well.
