This photo says it all, doesn't it?

Boris Johnson - holiday photo

FGS - the VITRIOL on this thread - you should all be ASHAMED of yourselves.

It's Summer, parliament is in recess and his holiday(s) will have been planned in well in advance.

BE KIND - the kids look fine, the family looks fine. In a 10 second snapshot you are all being VERY judgy.

Criticising the children is not on - many of you have commented on Wilfred and his "size" - completely unreasonable, I've reported the thread.

JaneJeffer · 17/08/2022 12:26

Oh give over @DuchessofAnkh77

Cornettoninja · 17/08/2022 12:28

Gosh, another triggered poster. @DuchessofAnkh77 are you quite alright?

Abraxan · 17/08/2022 12:38

Holiday - fine

Carrying one small child's bag whilst his wife carries 1 bag and a baby and the nanny carries 3 bags and the older toddler - pretty much sums up what BJ is like tbh.

Fine thanks?! You all need to have a good look at yourselves, the comments here are shocking! I still can't believe how many people think it's ok to comment on the size of a 2 year old.... really? Or who carries the bags off a plane....

DuchessofAnkh77 · 17/08/2022 12:40

JaneJeffer · 17/08/2022 12:26

Oh give over @DuchessofAnkh77

Why? a 2 second snapshot on someone's life - I really am shocked at the comments....

TheCutter · 17/08/2022 12:40

Changechangychange · 17/08/2022 08:36

Suspect that bag contains Boris’s colouring book and Hotwheels cars.

🤣🤣

Cornettoninja · 17/08/2022 12:44

The comments are shocking? Absolutely not. What that man has done to this country is shocking.

I don’t really care about the comments on Wilf but it’s undeniable he’s tall for his age when looked at in that photo with his nanny. Do you think that’s a bad thing? So bad it shouldn’t be commented on?

people have eyes for gods sake.

Typical take a snapshot of a moment in time and bitch about it, where is the footage of what happened before that picture was taken. Its typical of media now a days snip a video here or there and raise hell about what was said, glaringly leaving out the bit before hand that provides the context of why something was said.

Think its really pathetic that people look at a picture and start making a load of crap up. You don't know what happened before hand, maybe they are her personal bags and she wants to carry them, maybe the child walked down and at the last few steps wanted to be picked up and swung off the steps Who knows, I don't, you don't...noone does but yes lets post it and bitch about it

But in this case the snapshot tells a story.

Even if the child has just been picked up, or just been put down - the nanny is still the one carrying 3 bags and presumably also in charge of the child, whether carrying them or not.
Boris still remains the one at the bag of the group carrying 1 small child's bag - the least amount of stuff in the whole group.

Not at all, that's what holiday clubs are for.

I just look at people on holiday with nannies and they all look fucking miserable.

Our nanny comes on holiday with us. It’s bloody brilliant. Having an extra pair of hands to help wrangle my kids into swim stuff or reapply sun cream makes a huge difference.

Why would I look miserable?

PolarBearLookoutGuard · 17/08/2022 12:56

I am no fan but I think it is wrong to make massive value judgements based on one snap shot. We don't know what happened in the moments before this photograph was taken. What occurred on the plane - whether he was last out because he was talking to/thanking the crew etc (posing for photos etc.). If he was first out of the plane with the women and children trailing behind - that would be criticised too.

...he IS massive tho.

it’s not just based on one shot though is it? It’s also based on peoples personal experience of having his as their prime minister for the last few years.

Mamamia7962 · 17/08/2022 13:05

I agree this is a nasty thread. You cannot judge from one photo.

I am not allowed to carry anything heavy due to a heart condition, maybe it's the same for BJ? Who knows and really it's nobody else's business.

AhaLyn · 17/08/2022 13:07

Boring.

Cornettoninja · 17/08/2022 13:07

Maybe he does have a heart condition, doubt it though considering he was fannying about in a fighter jet a couple of weeks ago collecting photos for his memoirs.

This is great!

This photo says it all, doesn't it?

It does and walking downstairs with flip-flops on carrying a child AND lots of bags.
At least Carrie has sensible shoes on whilst carrying her baby.
Boris is very carefully carrying HIS little rucksack with great care 🙄
A picture can say a lot and this speaks volumes.

Dreamstate · 17/08/2022 14:25

I'm not triggered. I think its just pathetic people do this. How about we take a picture of a moment in your time and come bitch about it without any context of what happened before.

You should be asking my OP is so triggered by a snapshot of a moment in time and making up a whole speculative story on whats going on.

Hi, Nadine.

antelopevalley · 17/08/2022 14:30

Except it would be impossible for photographers to take a snapshot of me like this as I would never do this.

Arnaquer · 17/08/2022 14:30

Lol @RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie was about to say the same!

Sonnex · 17/08/2022 14:33

oh dear, stay off twitter triggered BoJo fans - you wont like the terrible hilarious hashtag and photos about his current holiday.
