This photo says it all, doesn't it?

Boris Johnson - holiday photo

Mind you I've seen Boris photographed with Wilf more times than I've seen Carrie. Shame that neither of them thought it was OK to let the overloaded nanny take their child down the step

HappyMeal564 · 17/08/2022 10:28

*wasn't

SunflowerDuck · 17/08/2022 10:29

Can you imagine being next to them on the flight?? I'd be soooo curious to overhear how things work for them.

In other news I would have loved a nanny/mother's help alongside me parenting when they were small. I wouldnt have expected they carry the bags but another pair of hands would have been amazing.sigh

Dirtylittleroses · 17/08/2022 10:31

Totally loving the folks saying the pic says it all, read the thread but not one person is able to articulate exactly what that pic says 😂

rightonthyme · 17/08/2022 10:37

That's the biggest two year old I've ever seen. Or is the nanny 4' tall??

FictionalCharacter · 17/08/2022 10:38

Chickenkatsu · 17/08/2022 10:16

I wonder if he's shagging the nanny.

Yeuch. In the presence of that detestable pig my vagina wouldn’t just clamp shut, it would sew itself up permanently.
Not the point I know, but the kid’s legs are sunburnt already.

AllJustATrialOfErrors · 17/08/2022 10:39

The only person “staggering” off, under the weight of what look to be heavy bags and a large wriggling 2yr old, is the hired help.

Badger1970 · 17/08/2022 10:41

Don't envy that nanny.

Unfortunately most people who voted for him (and probably still love him) would see nothing wrong whatsoever in that picture. To them thats exectly how it should be.

Dreamstate · 17/08/2022 11:03

Typical take a snapshot of a moment in time and bitch about it, where is the footage of what happened before that picture was taken. Its typical of media now a days snip a video here or there and raise hell about what was said, glaringly leaving out the bit before hand that provides the context of why something was said.

Think its really pathetic that people look at a picture and start making a load of crap up. You don't know what happened before hand, maybe they are her personal bags and she wants to carry them, maybe the child walked down and at the last few steps wanted to be picked up and swung off the steps Who knows, I don't, you don't...noone does but yes lets post it and bitch about it

Eeksteek · 17/08/2022 11:06

Yep, Boris knows what a woman is alright. It’s someone who carries his bags and his babies, and takes care of all the boring stuff while he concentrates on having Jollies. I’d expect no more of him.

torfa · 17/08/2022 11:09

Aside from all the astute comments on this thread, I think it's interesting that he's finally managed to comb his hair.

It's almost as if his Worzel Gummidge 'do was to help facilitate his image as a clown so he could get away with all of his disgusting behaviour.....

Happymum12345 · 17/08/2022 11:11

Spot on! Totally sums up everything!

dottiedodah · 17/08/2022 11:12

I really cant see an issue here! He is carrying a bag ,and shock Horror going on Holiday as many people do! The Nanny has the most TBH. Im not a fan of him ,but surely cut the guy a break even!

Fairyliz · 17/08/2022 11:12

Well I’m no fan of Boris but I’m think you are reading a lot into one snapshot.
I used to work in a public sector job helping children. I was paid 35 hours but generally worked 50 hours a week without overtime.
If you had been following me with a camera I am sure you could have found times when I was actually sitting drinking a coffee or having a five minute chat about my holiday.
Would you have criticised me for that?

midsomermurderess · 17/08/2022 11:12

I’m not seeing any staggering going on with his wife. The other woman’s the nanny, isn’t she basically doing her job?

LuckySantangelo35 · 17/08/2022 11:13

Sonnex · 17/08/2022 08:36

I think the OP means how BJ can't be arsed to carry one of his kids down the steps like dads normally do when going on holiday, nor help with any of the bags except token carrying a small kids one. What an arse he is.

I always feel.sorry for people who take a nanny on holiday, even though they think it means they're wealthy and privileged, it always looks miserable to me.

@Sonnex

why on earth would having a nanny on holiday be miserable?!

Nanny can look after the kids allowing parents to get some child free time on the holiday - fab!

you’re not one of those people who think a faaaaaaamily holiday means that it has to be all about the child and parents and kids have to be together 24/7 are you?!

Sonnex · 17/08/2022 11:15

Not at all, that's what holiday clubs are for.

I just look at people on holiday with nannies and they all look fucking miserable.

Sonnex · 17/08/2022 11:16

Oh and a close family member is a Norland nanny so I have heard the stories, believe me, and that probably colours my view too.

The majority of people on this thread seem to have managed ok. If your struggling it illustrates that BJ is a lazy shirker who takes responsibility for nothing and let’s others shoulder the burden.

Are you ok @Dreamstate? you sound quite, um, triggered?

PowerPack · 17/08/2022 11:20

midsomermurderess · 17/08/2022 11:12

Maybe so, but my boss wouldn't leave me struggling with all the bags if (s)he had free hands. Neither would I do it to any of my staff.

thefizz · 17/08/2022 11:22

Has Johnson combed his hair for once? or is he trying to emulate the other blonde idiot over the pond...

SmallPiecesOfGlitterAreSomehowEverywhere · 17/08/2022 11:24

Changechangychange · 17/08/2022 08:36

Suspect that bag contains Boris’s colouring book and Hotwheels cars.

😂

Trivester · 17/08/2022 11:25

You’re all being very unfair. It only takes a moment’s thought to realise that the erstwhile prime minister has cunningly disguised his red box in a child’s rucksack for security reasons, and is actually heavily weighed down by matters of state

…while nanny happily skips along with four bags and our future leader wriggling mischievously under her arm.
