I was thinking about this earlier while cleaning up and pretending I'm on a show to give my tuppence worth about something I'm a specialist in. I think I would go with skincare as I've done so much reading over the years I'd say I'm fairly well knowledgable. What would yours be and for what reason?

The musical catalogue of the Horrible Histories crew, with special focus on Matt Baynton's eye makeup.

Malcolm Saville's books (Children's book author). I could also do a reasonable good one at a moment's notice on books by Monica Edwards, Antonia Forest, Enid Blyton and Noel Streatfeild as well.

Oceanography with reference to the Gulf Stream to a certain extent.

The Irish industrial school system and it's multi generational effects still causing harm in the present day.

Possibly the co-morbidities of hypermobility syndrome disorder, where to find information about it. Oh and a bit about how he'd effects the body with live demonstrations.

@sleepymum50 we're just about to move to a house with a front lawn we'll never use.

Can you suggest a website that would be good for figuring out what we can put there instead of grass that will still look nice for the neighbours, is low maintenance and good for wildlife?

I know nothing about gardening but really don't want wasted lawn space, it's not like we'll sit out there.

CornedBeef451 · 14/08/2022 15:42

These all sound really interesting! We need to set up some sort of Mumsnet ted talks.

Mine would be womens rights like @EmpressaurusWitchDoesntBurn or the odd world of Supernatural fandom including Tumblr and fan fiction.

Kindofcrunchy · 14/08/2022 15:47

Veganism, definitely.
And then, on a side note, how to lose friends and alienate people 😂

DownNative · 14/08/2022 15:52

It would be audiology, the science of hearing. This would include vertigo as I've extensive lived experience of both.

Plus I will be studying audiology in the near future.

A pond? Our pond is very low maintenance and seems to attract lots of wildlife.

Bit niche I suppose Smile

The role of the (usually) unpaid female helper in Noel Streatfeild's children's fiction. It fascinates me and I've thought about it a lot.
