I don’t like alcohol. So all this gin time and wine time flies over my head.

I don’t like pyjamas which is annoying because there are really cute ones out there. I prefer nighties.

I don’t like high end food. Oysters and stuff like that..bleh

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 13/08/2022 23:01

Do you give your children coffee and oysters ?

Not in the same cup , no ..............

MayISuggestSomeThickCutSteakChipsToGoWithThat · 13/08/2022 23:05

Fruit. Don't mind the odd bowl of strawberries with a shit ton of sugar and ice cream now and then and I quite like watermelon but I can happily take or leave anything else. I'm paranoid about finding a maggot inside it and most of its too sour for me so I don't enjoy it. I probably have 5 portions a year if that. Veg I can tolerate more to an extent but I certainly wouldn't rush to have it every day. Also make up cos I'm shit at applying it and it makes me wanna rip my face off as soon as it's on. Exercising I know a lot of people enjoy it. Me I feel like I'm gonna pass out and die 5 minutes in although I do feel rather jealous seeing people out running without a care in the world

I don't get the obsession with coffee..bleurgh!

Same 👏🏽 Even the smell makes me want to be sick 🤢

TheWayoftheLeaf · 13/08/2022 23:09

Not much but it is fairly embarrassing at work (I review hotels, yachts etc) when I have to say the only things I won't eat are caviar, truffle and oysters.

They're all minging! And every time the high end hotels try to show off with them I have to say no thanks.

feistyoneyouare · 13/08/2022 23:10

Tea and coffee.
Dinner parties.
Wanting/having children.

feistyoneyouare · 13/08/2022 23:10

Oh, and gardening.

JustDanceAddict · 13/08/2022 23:13

Tea - I drink it very rarely - never make it for myself
shoes - I’d live in trainers if I could
Hate ‘dressing up’ for an occasion. Always feel uncomfortable- see ‘shoes’
gardening - cba
I like most alcohol apart from whisky but don’t drink much anymore as it never really agrees w me 😞
Don’t drink at home alone - never done ‘wine o clock’

CeCeDrake · 13/08/2022 23:15

Cooking!!! Having to choose what to cook, having to cook it then having to clean up after cooking it! What a process, daily!!!

Draughtycatflapreturns · 13/08/2022 23:16

National Trust restaurant drink choices. They can sod off with their teensy weensy bottles of water flavoured with a micron of cucumber with shitty bits floating in it masquerading as a cold drink. Oh yeah and they are usually luke warm because god forbid they provide anything as vulgar as ice!

DangerouslyBored · 13/08/2022 23:21

Plays. Boring, utterly pretentious way to waste an evening. I never believe anyone who claims to enjoy going to see them, what I do believe is that they think by saying they have seen ‘insert name of tedious play here’ it makes them seem cultured and intellectual 🤷🏻‍♀️

Banter. It’s rarely funny and often cringey

Socialising. I do it to be ‘normal’ but in all honestly, I’d rather be with my DH and my dogs (and soon to be little boy) and never see anyone else, ever again

I do love red wine, coffee, diamonds and driving

MiniPumpkin · 13/08/2022 21:58

Being able to choose what to have for dinner. Can someone just put it in front of me please

Totally! Any bear it (I don’t mind cooking but deciding what to cook for 4 people - with different tastes - most nights is exhausting!)

JustDanceAddict · 13/08/2022 23:22

Forgot I hate massages & if I didn’t have to, I wouldnt drive.

Ellmau · 13/08/2022 23:24

Alcohol, coffee, tea.

Margot78 · 13/08/2022 23:27

Gardening. Keep trying to get interested in it but can’t. Most I can muster up is some belated mowing.
Baking cakes and making jam.
Harry Potter, LOTR, Marvel, Stranger Things, Waking Dead or Game of Thrones.

Consequently I can’t really join in many colleague or Mum conversations at all!

Bagzzz · 13/08/2022 23:28

Alcohol
Brussels sprouts and cauliflower and plain broccoli (read a study that adults develop tolerance to brassica vegetables.)

DrNo007 · 13/08/2022 23:28

I also cannot stand alcohol, coffee, caviar or shellfish. Or the idea of going on a cruise. I also don’t like most parties or dinner parties as I find it really hard to hear what people are saying when there is a lot of background noise.

MuchuseasaChocolateTeapot · 13/08/2022 23:29

Bras
rare meat
drunk people
bad drivers
Im really going off travelling, It’s so much hassle to go anywhere, expensive, time consuming and too stressful!

Bagzzz · 13/08/2022 23:31

Oh and dark “proper” chocolate

Summer776 · 13/08/2022 23:52

Fucking 'Bridgerton'.

Although, having looked it up in order to check that it definitely had a 'd' in it, I've discovered it's from the 'Shondaland' stable which explains a lot.

Dire.

MeenzAmRhoi · 14/08/2022 06:34

Also alcohol! I'll have a few radlers (lemonade beer) in the summer and a few Glühwein at Christmas but that's it. Due to pregnancy and breastfeeding then pregnancy, I haven't had a drink since summer 2019 and I don't miss it!
