It's raining here (Devon). And has been cloudy all morning.

Maybe it will pick up a bit later.

I have to go down to London on the train in a bit. I’m bricking it.

Currently 38.3 degrees in my garden according to the thermometer (Derbyshire). Internal house temp is 28.5, that’s with fans, windows closed and curtains closed.

Feeling very thankful that at 32 weeks pregnant I got a call yesterday from management to insist I work from home as my classroom was 32 degrees in last week's heat, so I dread to think what it’s at today!

I am in North Devon and its 32 degrees and climbing

31 here in Peterborough, supposed to make it to 39 later!

Not sure whereabouts in Devon you are, but if you're on or near the south coast you will feel a lot cooler than everyone else as the wind is coming in from the south, so you will be getting a cooling sea breeze.

35 C in Cambridge already, with 39 forecast for later this afternoon and 41 tomorrow.. roll on Wednesday when this will hopefully over!

North Midlands. 30 C already (at midday.) Was 26 C at half ten. And 23 C during the night! Set to get to 37/38 later. 😯

No sign of any cloud. For as far as the eye can see!

We're at 33 here in South Norwich. Expected to be 38c. My conservatory is currently 43c 😥

Thankfully cooler in the front room, until the sun ends up facing it during the hottest part of the day. I've got an industrial fan and my son is just getting over tonsillitis so I'm a bit concerned.

All windows and blinds/curtains shut. We're going to sleep downstairs tonight as it's 35c upstairs already.

I am not in England, so perhaps my comment isn't wanted- 27 here in SE Scotland, feels pleasant.

I think it's about 27/28 here in Liverpool, it's lovely. I've been sitting outside (in the shade) working all morning, I've only come in to plug my laptop in!.

Predicted to be 34 this afternoon so I'll be camped out in our cool kitchen with a fan I think.

Low humidity feels so much nicer!! Yesterday felt lovely outside!

Central South Coast. No idea what the temp is but we are usually a few degrees below whatever Surrey is having because we're on the coast. It's hot but really grateful that we have a sea breeze blowing across the garden. Tree tops are swinging around.
