It's raining here (Devon). And has been cloudy all morning.

Maybe it will pick up a bit later.

It's 26 degrees near Bristol

31 degrees in Bristol at 11am; met office keeps changing its mind on predictions of between 35-37 degrees this afternoon. I'm in an air conditioned office but not hugely looking forward to cycling home at the peak high temps!

31 where I am in Lincolnshire up to 36 today and 40 tomorrow. Not nice.

East Sussex,it was 24c at 8am on the school run. I always thought Devon and Cornwall were really warm,yet I have friends who says it's not warm enough to grow pears or even tomatoes without a green house. It's been in the high 20s for a week here.

Not looking forward to PPE tomorrow, even if it stays a pleasant 26. Forecast 35, and I drive around to clients homes all day.

Bloody boiling and not a breath of breeze in Cambridgeshire.

I opened this thread as I immediately thought the person posting must be in the Westcountry! In Plymouth here, warming up but not about-to-die hot.

Just nipped to recycling bin, saw a woman out on a power walk in black Lycra looking very pink and sweaty. Scuttled back inside asap.

It’s cool in my house though, all closed up with fan on, it’s around 22 in here. Walked the dog at 6am to beat the heat, through the woods and in the brook. Desperate to keep him cool as he has no sense whatsoever and is a large double coated breed that overheats easily, so he’ll be staying on the dark, cool side of the house, with the fan running.

I am currently at a zoo in south Cumbria with ds. Pleasant breeze and comfortable in the shade.

27C in Northumberland, it's never this warm here! Was 22C at 10 am, climbing!

I actually can't remember when we last had a proper rain and that's not even me exaggerating. We had some drizzle about 2 weeks ago maybe, but we haven't had proper rain in a long long time. All lawns around here are brown/dust by this point.

30c in Surrey now. You probably all think I am mad, but I don't think it's too bad today, the humidity is very low, so although it is obviously hot, it isn't sweaty...... yet!

30 in inland North Yorkshire. Set to rise throughout the day. Tomorrow to be predicted higher. Roads are really quiet.

Not a cloud in the sky. Too hot to sit in, the garden cushions burn my skin.

33 in Essex. We’re indoors with all windows and blinds closed.
We’ve not had proper rain in a couple of weeks, I’m looking forward to the forecasted rain later this week.

31 where I am in London, supposed to reach 36/37 this afternoon and only as low as 25 overnight.
I like summer but this is too much. Was lovely in Morrisons just now!
