but it’s in Norwich. I’ve never even been to Norwich and I don’t know why I was even looking there! It can only be a sign, right?!

Apart from expensive maintenance and heating etc. these kinds of houses are a nightmare when it comes to SAD and mental health. They are nice to look at but depressing to live in, and I mean that in the serious sense. You just don't get enough light living in one.

Ghosts are one thing, cannibalistic (is that a word?!) ghosts are something else!

It is lovely though I’m not sure I’d choose it as a permanent residence. I did on first glance think there was a coffin in picture 14 though which perhaps is due to the general haunted ambiance!

Gorgeous house! The home of dreams. In Norwich too, nice and central. BUT lack of parking in that area would make life very very difficult indeed. It could be a little dark. If you've cats, think how they'd love that historic woodwork. Seriously, a listed building is to be avoided at all costs unless you're rolling in it. Lovely old houses can be money pits at the best of times, despite intensive pre purchase surveys. I speak from bitter experience. Have I put you off enough so I can buy it with a clear conscience?

I’ll let you buy it with a clear conscience if I can come and stay regularly :)
