Favourite Beatles song

This is off the back of a baby name thread. Someone said prudence and a poster said dear prudence is their favourite Beatles song. I've had it on repeat since, it's not one I'd listened to much before.

I'd normally say here there and everywhere is my favourite.

Thanks for this. It's so lovely to be reminded of other songs, having watched the Glastonbury concert.

My favorites (today) are
Lady Madonna
Oh Darling
Blackbird

For no one.

She’s leaving home.

It is like they know my soul.

I've been playing "This is the Beatles" on Spotify and enjoying remembering songs and seeing my toddler dance to some of them! Smile

I like most of them but my favourite is I'm so Tired.

My toddler used to dance to Your mother should know from Magical Mystery Tour. I had to play it on a loop!

ShirleyJackson · 27/06/2022 17:09

Helter Skelter. It fucking rocks.

Ritascornershop · 27/06/2022 17:12

Probably Two of Us or Don’t Let Me Down.

peachgreen · 27/06/2022 17:12

A Day In The Life and the closing medley of Abbey Road. Absolutely perfect.

ihateendometriosis · 27/06/2022 17:14

And I love her 🤍

NashvilleQueen · 27/06/2022 18:21

Golden slumbers/carry that weight/the end. That he finished with it at Glastonbury was perfection to me.

squirrelnutkins1 · 27/06/2022 20:24

I need to watch some Glastonbury highlights by the sounds of it!

Yes, get yourself onto Iplayer, you could be there all day though!

Acaseofthemondays · 27/06/2022 20:32

Girl, Hey Jude, Good Day Sunshine, Something, I’m so Tired

and 50 more 😩

RoseLunarPink · 27/06/2022 20:35

Helter Skelter - that's partly because I don't like their usual style so much (though I realise they're brilliant songs) and it's a bit different. But I also think it's amazing.

While my guitar gently weeps.

So pleased to be reminded about Fool on the Hill. Had forgotten all about it.

Best album: Abbey Road.

MiniTheMinx · 27/06/2022 20:41

While my guitar gently weeps
Hey Bulldog

mdinbc · 27/06/2022 20:42

Changes whenever I hear one! Blackbird is lovely. And I always feel happy and silly when I hear I am the Walrus.

clpsmum · 27/06/2022 20:43

Lady Madonna

MichelleScarn · 27/06/2022 20:44

Across the universe, but the version sung by Rufus Wainwright, Julian Lennon and Moby.

Derrymum123 · 27/06/2022 20:46

Let it be.
Stops me in my tracks every time I hear it. Pure perfection.
