Smells you aren’t supposed to like but do

The smell of a match when it's struck

And the scent of wet roads after rain

The sweet smell of soft rubber ducks.

The smell of Christmas decorations when the box has just been opened. I'm a tinsel sniffer I admit it ! (But only when it's been in storage for nearly a year)

The smell of boiled cabbage and or gravy etc etc i.e. school canteen/works canteen.

Very occasionally, completely fresh cigarette smoke, but only outdoors and on sunny days. I've never smoked - think it reminds me of living overseas!

Oh I like so many on here. My top few are similar to OP's and I also like the hay smell. I'm rather partial to smelling guinea pigs and horses fur

Thinners, petrol, paraffin! My mum worked in a car parts place so we were brought up on these smells!

A new magazine or catalogue that you can shove your nose in and just inhale!

Beer when my DP drinks on a hot day and cigarette smoke. Mouldy houses smell nice and mysterious.

Hospitals. My mum was a nurse and only worked nights. She smelt of hospitals when she came home and cuddled us in the morning. It’s my comfort smell. Probably why I work in one.

There’s a smell I associate with my grandparents’ storage room - old waxed jackets and boots and Calor gas, probably a bit of damp as well. All outdoorsy and comforting with a hint of Spider

Horse poo smells lovely

Manure in general.. We were driving behind a farm vehicle carrying manure the other day and I was waxing lyrical about the umami parmesany smell of it. DP things I'm wierd.

Oh yes, my dogs paws! 🐾 (trying not to think what she treads in🫤) and her fur when it’s been warmed by the sun.
