DS is almost 4 and has ASD and a speech delay. He went out in the garden and said "mama, lovely, lovely day". It really made me smile. Anyone else want to share?

My speech delayed asd daughter always smiles and says 'Mummy soss' when I pick her up from nursery. I assume it's because I always call her sausage. She greets her daddy less enthusiastically with a 'Daddy first name'.

She also calls peas 'happy peas'. She's a cutie! 😍

I told my DD the basics about sex and babies.

She listened intently and then said, 'I hope you're joking'.

And you sighed, "I wish I were!"

@Squiff70 he's hilarious, he's like this wonderful mix of Alan Bennett and a small Victorian ghost child in 8 year old form and I luffs him. I keep a notebook with all his little phrases and read them back and smile
