I love love love cheese. I'm pretty basic, love Brie and Camembert.

My dad always used to bring me Saint Felicien from a booze cruise. That's probably my top cheese.

I also like hard cheese, blue cheese (not Stilton though) smoked cheese

What am I missing out on?

Cisco Lanzas - the best.

Furrbabymama1987 · 12/06/2022 12:31

The pineapple and almond Castello.

MrsPnut · 12/06/2022 12:31

Mine has to be taleggio followed by a delice de Bourgogne.

I am also partial to Gorgonzola dolce.

Mmmmmm, cheeeeeeese!

Oxford Blue

Oojamaflipp · 12/06/2022 12:47

Omg I could just eat cheese if I could!

If you like brie and camembert, Pie D'Anglois is a similar kind of cheese but gooey-er and with a nicer (imo) rind.

I also love Danish blue, some stilton and Roquefort.

Also like smoked cheeses (applewood for example), the big goats cheeses that come with a soft middle and rind (which is also nice grilled on some toast with some toasted pine nuts and balsamic glaze), Port Salut, really mature cheddar with the crystally bits...

So many cheeses! In fact the only ones I don't like (as much!) are mild cheddars and ones with chives or onions in.

Black Bomber cannot be beaten.

Goats Cheese just tastes like how I imagine licking a goat would. Bleurgh. Camembert is revolting too, it even smells horrible in the oven.

storminabuttercup · 12/06/2022 12:55

Agree with black bomber.

I can't abide anything goaty

Wensleydale blue is delicious

Huge fan of raclette too

noblegreenk · 12/06/2022 12:56

HavfrueDenizKisi · 12/06/2022 12:59

Are you me? Swap taleggio for parmesan though! Add in very mature gouda and a good comte.

Itriedtobesomeoneelse · 12/06/2022 13:09

I don't know either, because I am now going to have to get myself ready to go cheese shopping. HmmGrin

Octoblockisadick · 12/06/2022 13:24

I love cambozola, yum

Trulyweird1 · 12/06/2022 13:25

Langres; manchego; pecorino; dolcelatte
lots of artisanal Scottish cheddar types near me.

Any cheese except Danish Blue - too bitter - and Halloumi - tastes like plastic.

Bluevelvetsofa · 12/06/2022 13:25

Strong cheddar
Goats cheese of by sort
Cornish Yarg
Nothing blue.

Oh yes, I love that one too

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 12/06/2022 13:26

Morbier is my absolute favourite, with Oxford Blue a very close second. Highly commended? Banon, Perl Las and Mrs Kirkham's Lancashire.

I also adore Comte and Gruyère, not so keen on Gouda and I like Parmesan sometimes but it depends what I am eating it with.
In fact I just like cheese in general.
