Boring question about hanging washing out

When do you do it?

Some days I'm up at 6am and we have bright sunshine but I'm not sure if I will look ridiculous hanging washing out so early!

Today the sky is white cloud, not a bit of sunshine. Would you hang washing out?

I know the rules about not leaving it to get darked on, and the spider willies, but no one has actually told me when the right time to hang it is!

I was a serial tumble dryer user prior to this year when for various reasons, but now I'm able to hang washing I want to get it right

I highly doubt there will be anyone up at six watching you hanging out your washing and tutting.

I do my drying as soon as the washing is done. It's rarely 6 am. If you leave the washing sitting there wet it will start to smell.

The reason your neighbours wait until later to put out their washing is that they are asleep at 6.

i put a second load on yesterday and put it out at 4.00 pm
got it in very nearly dry at 7 pm

If it’s dry, and the sun is up, I’ll hang it out. Even if it’s just for an hour, and rain forces me to get it in again. I never leave it overnight outside, but I’ve never had a tumble dryer, so I take the.chances i get!

I do this. Hung some out an 9pm yesterday knowing it was going to be sunny today

Only put it out when no rain forecast that day. Otherwise I hang it in the laundry room. I hate having to get it in when it rains and hang it out twice!

I can't tell from your OP is you think that being darked on and spider willies are actual things

But in case you do, both of those are made up nonsense, not real rules of laundry. Nothing bad will happen if you leave your washing out overnight
