So this was a game of two dismal halves. 105 guesses to get a green, which was, let's say, unhelpful. Finally got 999 at guess 185 and then 60 more guesses because I hadn't realised the one variant I hadn't tried was the answer. So 241 guesses for this.

This is an annoying one. You get a Green, try all the words related to that Green, and none of them are even tepid. Nothing is a continuation. So irritating.

And ironically, that little rant has provided me with the answer.
