They are trying their best to discredit Gray now. There was something in the Mail about her becoming "too fond of the limelight" (I don't read that rag, but there was a photo of it's front page).. She hasn't bloody sought to be in the limelight at all.

Boris Johnson's spokesman tells me that minutes were recording for his meeting with Sue Gray but they will not publish details of their "private" discussions.

The Lib Dems will today table a motion in the Commons seeking to compel its publication.

Yes I saw that in the press today. Nothing surprising about that. Its par for the course. She should not have been asked to do the report in the first place. It should have been a totally independent company doing it. Her boss is Simon Case and his boss is Boris!

It's all an absolute farce, all it requires is a bare arse Minister running in shouting 'wheres my trousers?' . Maybe Mr Cummings can help out with his photos.

Our government is so corrupt. I dearly wish there was a way to dissolve it. But we have to wait until the next election as our members of Parliament haven't the guts to act honourably.

Wow thanks I had missed that.

I think you have made a mistake. For months I have been assured by some very unknowledgeable posters on here that Boris is not responsible for those he appoints or work for him. In fact as far as we can establish he is responsible for the pot plants and providing party entertainment - hence it was essential for him to be at illegal parties and not illegal for him to be at them.

Thank you for that clarification @jgw1 I had forgotten all those posts about him not being responsible for anyone in any of the departments. Good point. Cancel the SG report.

I think the party are subtly trying to smear SG in advance of the report coming out.
