What is your best sensation in your body when something gets better

I just used a nose spray as I was so bunged up. That crackly feeling all up my tubes was just lovely and now I can breathe again.

Also having a poo when you have been desperate is one of the best feelings too 😊

Having a hot shower after a really long, busy, sweaty day and putting on clean pyjamas. It’s just the best.
also when I was in labour the pushing actually felt really good as it was such a massive relief and the pain was nowhere near as bad as the contractions had been. It just felt like a really huge relief and good to channel all my energy! Weird…

Having an orgasm after being randy as hell for a while!

i had been breastfeeding newborn DD and i had lots of problems getting her to latch, milk flow etc etc....
Id been in an awkward position sat down on the armchair hunched over for about 50 mins and my back killed. I eventually put DD down in her moses basket and then i had a good stretch and leaned back slightly.
I felt and heard a 'pop pop pop pop pop pop' noise and as I'd stretched my sternum popped and clicked on like a ripple affect downwards.
It was gross and satisfying at the same time.

Stretching my calf muscles. Oof.

I felt so nauseous when I was having my c-section. Told the anaesthetist and he gave me anti-emetics in the drip. Wow, the nausea just ebbed and disappeared! Amazing feeling.

I also LOVE cleaning my ears. I know I shouldn’t put cotton buds anywhere near them but it’s almost literally orgasmic! 🤣

When the girl washing your hair at the salon gives you a head massage after a long day. Just incredible. Have been known to fall asleep 🤣

Paracetamol after 48 hours of pain meds including tons of morphine for a kidney stone. The pain just shrank away. I was in tears I was so grateful. The nurse said it was the combination of drugs but next time I’m trying that first!!!

I’m so with you on that! I had loads of morphine for a bad fracture dislocation - it did NOTHING except make me feel like a queasy zombie. 1 bottle of IV paracetamol and I felt like I could run a marathon (surprisingly enough I couldn’t but the relief was wonderful)

When we sold our business and the premises, it was a year of stress and after all that the buyers ended up completing two weeks late. I had no idea just how stressed I was until our solicitor called and said it had finally gone through and the tension just drained from my body in an almost orgasmic, breathtaking rush. It was an extraordinary sensation. If I could bottle that feeling...

And speaking of orgasms, if you can bear to do it, an orgasm really relieves period pains so a double win. Bit tricky in the office mind.

When you've had such a good poop that you feel really empty (and hungry) afterwards.

Ringmaster27 · 08/05/2022 22:06

I had a horrible viral thing about a week and a half ago. Felt rough as a badger’s arse. That then turned into an ear infection and conjunctivitis which I’ve been nursing for about 4 days…my ear finally “popped” today, and it was the best feeling ever. No more pressure or muffled hearing - Instant relief.

Squiff70 · 08/05/2022 22:14

When you've been asleep on your side and you wake up with the sensation that your hand is dead. No blood flow, no feeling, no sensation. You pick up your dead hand with the other hand and it just flops back down, lifeless. A minute or so of intense pain as the blood flow returns and your hand is fully functioning again. It's so bizarre but the relief when you finally have control over that hand is amazing!

Please tell me it's not just me...

Chickydoo · 08/05/2022 22:15

Absolute bliss of manually removing a tonsil stone ( or two) Particularly when they stink & have been causing a sore throat & bad breath for days. The relief is spectacular!

FrankGrillosFloof · 08/05/2022 22:38

When my lovely physio cracks my back… months off tension flood away in one satisfying pop.

Apologies if this is not in the spirit of this thread but that feeling of coming up on ecstasy… music, dancing, friends… all the love 😍

Bra off at the end of a long day. And the feeling of utter relief when an excruciatingly painful Bartholin's cyst burst!

Absolutely that ovarian cyst relief! Mine was mahoosive (and I got a lot of sympathy when they did the pre-op scan). Afterwards they told me I could stay in and get a morphine drip overnight and, stupidly, I felt so good I insisted on going back home. I did suffer later but it says a lot for the sheer relief!

Also: when you have a bad cold and can't taste anything, then you feel all better and ravenously hungry but still can't taste anything ... and then you get it back again. That is amazing!

And ... is this just me? When you cut your nails that were getting too long. Such a nice feeling.

Same. I had a 15cm dermoid cyst that had twisted my Fallopian tube round 1.5 times. I was wailing in agony before and SO relieved to come round after surgery.

Getting undressed at the end of the day when your body is all itchy and having an all over good scratch especially on my back!
