More than once I’ve gone out for the day and realised on arrival at our destination that I’ve forgotten the changing bag 🙈😂 Hence the mini toddler kit that now permanently lurks in my handbag 🤣

How large are some people's handbags? Don't you get sore shoulders from heaving around so much shite all day? Does your bag come with wheels and an extendable handle?

I don't usually use a handbag. Phone, wallet, keys, all in pockets and job's a good-un. Only time I concede to a handbag is in summer or on a night out when jackets and dresses invariably lack pockets 😠

I dont even know its a big bag and very rarely do i get to the bottom.of it, I do know there is a medal in there from when I did a charity firewallk which must have been over 5 years ago. I realised it was there while looking for something to entertain my friends by with so I could get my car keys back.

A sanitary towel in the zip compartment

Lip balm (vaseline tinted)
Mobile phone
Face mask (the covid kind)

Then interchangeably depending what I'm doing there'll possibly be:

A small makeup bag
Tangle teezer compact
A book
Sunglasses (in summer)
Some sort of cereal/snack bar
Gloves (if it's winter)

I rarely carry a handbag around with me these days. I take my phone and keys in my pocket and I've found that's all I need. After years of toting around baby bags I'm travelling light!

If we're going further afield then DH carries a backpack with snacks, DS's drinks etc.
