Someone's already gone all out editing his Wiki page.

Roussette · 29/04/2022 16:36

You. Could. Not. Make. It. Up.

He is being interviewed about it here in this clip! And he's the grubby porno watcher himself!

He complained in the Commons about the country's slow broadband speeds!

I sometimes feel we are in a 2022 updated 'Yes Minister' programme, I really do.

Surely not. Yes Minister made me laugh, this lot make me want to cry.

I can't even process this. It's beyond everything that makes sense.

Roussette · 29/04/2022 17:06

Exactly. How on earth he can sit there and discuss it like he did when he's the guilty party, I do not know.
I presume there will be a plea of pressure of work, long hours, blah blah blah

I don't know what to say. It is like The Thick of It reality TV.

Blossomtoes · 29/04/2022 17:24

And there are still people who’ll vote for this lot because they “know what a woman is”. I despair.

derxa · 29/04/2022 17:35

HarrietPierce · 29/04/2022 15:53

Maybe Derxa can explain why the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party should not have been in an office in Durham in the run up to the Hartlepool by election.

😂

I presume Parish was checking that he knew what a woman was.

The esteemed (by me anyway) Marina again.

Labour isn’t wanking! 😂

'wromg Boris' is trending on twitter Grin

Boris Becker prison sentence

Members of the public rightly want to know why employees of Labour's press office lied about her presence at the event and why Durham police force didn't investigate the event with the same level of scrutiny as the Met. A review of video footage is not good enough. The MP's drunken outburst was also a ridiculous reaction to a suggestion the case needs to be reopened.

Blossomtoes · 30/04/2022 09:28

The MP's drunken outburst

What drunken outburst? By whom? And how do you know Durham’s scrutiny wasn’t as rigorous as the Met’s? Because it didn’t give you the result you wanted?

Notonthestairs · 30/04/2022 09:29

"Durham police force didn't investigate the event with the same level of scrutiny as the Met."
Can you explain how you know this?

"The MP's drunken outburst was also a ridiculous reaction to a suggestion the case needs to be reopened."
A drunken outburst is embarrassing but does not indicate illegality- if it did half of MN would be in trouble including me.

Notonthestairs · 30/04/2022 09:31

Durham MP got pissed in the bar and picked an argument with the Con MP that asked for further investigation (the one that also had lunch at work). Pretty ridiculous behaviour on her part. She has apologised.

ClaudineClare · 30/04/2022 09:32

Also wondering about the drunken outburst?

Notonthestairs · 30/04/2022 09:32

Notonthestairs · 28/04/2022 19:36

A Tory MP who wants police to probe Keir Starmer’s group work pizza proudly had a group work curry in the same week.
Richard Holden has urged Durham Police to reopen a probe into the Labour leader’s conduct during lockdown last year.

ClaudineClare · 30/04/2022 09:33

Cross Post. Thanks Notonthestairs.

Notonthestairs · 30/04/2022 09:39

Am amazed the Met are considered the gold standard given the fact they were present in Downing Street when the 18(?) parties occurred, refused to investigate until the Sue Gray report was ready and then finally swung in to action by sending out questionnaires (!).
How very thorough.

It's in the press.

Notonthestairs · 30/04/2022 09:45

Sorry @MapleMay11 we obviously don't read the same papers. In what way did they fail to investigate according to yours?

Durham MP. The information is in the press. I'm not willing to make excuses for either Labour or the Tories.

A review of video footage versus questionnaires and interviews.
