Hmmm, now I’m listening to Shelagh Fogarty and LBC where there’s a link being made between the delays in getting Ukrainian refugees to the UK and delayed visa’s which seem disproportionally for very young children/babies. Obviously families will be reluctant to travel without their children.

Cruel scandal through incompetence or design? I really don’t want to be part of a country where the former has a possibility of being true.

I wonder how the news of a Tory MP watching porn in parliament will be received by women who threw their lot in with the tories a few weeks ago because Tories knew what a woman was

Exactly. I see it all over Twitter. Personally, I don't have those strong feelings about it. It's yet another divide isn't it. But how anyone thinks the Tories look after women, god alone knows. Boris threw out his remark as a vote catcher, that's all.
He has no sincerity about anything in my book

Agree with this. The idea that Tories are the best party for women... my god, it is grotesque really.

On here or on Twitter Duncin?

DuncinToffee · 27/04/2022 16:26

I meant the ones on here, the twitter ones I never expected to be anything else.

Indeed cornetto, the Tory hordes are leading us astray. Its not that they ' know what a women is ; they 'know what a woman is for.'

I've just been on there and someone has called me weird for saying I came home from work and am catching up on the thread.

Ignoring the irony that they are clearly doing exactly the same Confused

Fair play to him. I often suspect there is a sizeable portion of tories who don’t recognise what their party has become and have been left with loyalties they’re not entirely comfortable with.

It would be exceedingly helpful if Clav or Janiie could make a list of the uses of a woman.

In case 'beergate' is getting a mention on here

Asked whether Durham Police are re-examining the case against Keir Starmer, their spokesperson tells me: “that’s not the case.”

"As a courtesy we've replied to Mr. Holden to confirm we've received his letter and will consider its contents before responding in due course

Politics Live, Jo Coburn ask Tory MP Brendan Clarke-Smith 'what's your reaction to a Tory MP being caught watching porn in the Chamber?'

His reaction "I can't even get a WiFi signal in the Chamber'

WTAF indeed!

Hasn't he heard that you can actually download videos? If that's what happened, it makes it even worse.

Luculentus · 27/04/2022 17:33

Yet more lies from Johnson about the care homes case. He said again that at the time they didn't know that asymptomatic transmission of Covid was possible. But the evidence that they bloody did is set out in the judgment.

Raab's constituency, and he has anything but a safe majority. He must be very, very worried right now.

Surely we all know by now that if Big Toddler sticks his fingers in his ears and goes la la la, he has not been told what is going on, and so he is right that he did not know about asymptomatic transmission or that he was at a party.

Is he clever enough to be worried?

Blossomtoes · 27/04/2022 17:41

I imagine Raab’s shitting himself right now.

Thanks. Found out this evening there's nothing they can do. She's in hospital atm and has asked to transfer to a hospice. It's a fucking cruel disease Angry

Oh @itsgettingweird, I’m so very sorry. Sending you a huge squidgy hug, you must be in bits. 💐

Roussette · 27/04/2022 21:30
