Random things that were big in the '90s.

I'm trying to make up a quiz for a friend's birthday based on things that were popular in the '90s, plus I was just having fun reminiscing with another friend. So I wondered, what random and lesser known things do you remember being popular back then?

Riverdance is one I remember. That was so huge back then and I was obsessed with it and Michael Flatley. I remember watching Eurovision live when they had Michael Flatley and Jean Butler perform and being blown away by it.

Does anyone remember Filofax on just about every subject known to man? Or hologram pendants? I'm not sure if the latter were just a thing in my area.

  • question - can you remember what it was advertising?

There was a major war in Europe - from 1992 to the end of the decade. Might not be a party sort of quiz topic though

There were lots of 'unplugged' musics vids. And MTV had an 'undressed' day

"Best friend" jewellery. Usually necklaces. Usually a broken heart with best on one and friend on the other, you wore worn and guess you one the other?!

MrsReeves · 08/04/2022 20:19
