Are you able to get fuel?

Last night I had to go to 6 petrol stations to get diesel. Petrol seemed fine.

Is this National or just in my area? Are we going to have £30 limits again soon?

Apparently there are people at the docks blocking the tankers but I watch the news regularly and haven't seen anything.

Also paid 186.9 so my £20 will only get so far. Luckily I'm a hybrid worker this time round but I'm driving to Cornwall soon (if I can get the fuel Wink)

I filled up with petrol yesterday. It wasn't busy and all fuels available.

No diesel round here last night, but plenty of petrol (based on going past four fuel stations yesterday). I’m in Cornwall (sorry OP!). Overheard the checkout assistant saying that it was because people were panic buying again.

There are on going protests at depots across the country. There are 3 sites being blocked in Essex alone. It has been on the BBC News website.

I filled up my petrol car with no issues yesterday and all the pumps were working. DH also filled up our diesel car. Bloody expensive but there didn’t seem to be any queues or supply issues.

@GrammarTeacher I watch sky news. Perhaps that's the problem. Are these the depots that the tankers collect the fuel from to distribute?

Been no diesel in my part of East Anglia for days and now the unleaded is running out. Lots and lots of queues at the few places that do have fuel.

Ours is the opposite weirdly . One station was shut so I went to another yesterday and only seemed to have diesel which is what I needed luckily .

I managed to fill up yesterday op but the petrol station was heaving and least half the pumps were empty, petrol and diesel. Wondered what was happening. SE here

DS filled up with petrol yesterday afternoon - no problems at our local PFS. But then we didn't have the severe problems that other areas had in the last fuel crisis 6 months ago.

There's a worldwide Diesel shortage and blockades at refineries (can someone please just drag those protesters away and dump them in a ditch?) so yes, it's a problem. I'm in East Anglia and diesel is a real issue. Which is worrying because I have a long drive to do this coming weekend to collect my disabled DD from uni.

Main petrol station in Fort William was totally empty last Thursday and again this week.

Cheshire. Some petrol stations seem to have no diesel, also incredibly expensive (16p more than petrol), plenty of petrol though.

There were a load of protests (and arrests) at the weekend, so it's probably a knock-on from that.

I sincerely hope the protesters don't ear food, wear clothing, use buses or take any medicines because how the fuck do they think things are moved around the country?
