What do you like to eat at Wagamamas?

Only been there once and had a chicken ramen which was v bland
Not my choice to go there but formed a birthday and she’s having it there so what’s good on the menu please ? I think last time I picked a duff choice

Teriyaki Steak Soba
Katsu Chicken Curry (although you can make a near perfect dupe at home as they released the recipe during lockdown)

Makes me crave a Wagas!

I love the kare burosu ramen and the wok fried greens. Could eat those both everyday. Yum!

I've always been partial to a wagas and like lots of their bits from gyozas to ramen to katsu. I've also been to maybe 10 branches over the years, all the same. But then I went to one in Ipswich last week and it was dire. Like leave the food on your plate bad. So I wonder if OP might have been to a duff branch? I had the miso cod fwiw which is one of my faves and it was awful. So we're the gyoza & chilli squid which I didn't actually think you could muck up.

Yaki Udon is my favourite but it wasn't on the menu last time I went

Yasai yaki soba, bang bang cauliflower, squid balls (amazing!), Steamed bun, gyoza,, and then last time I had cod with charcoal noodles. I don't understand why people like ramen!

And now I'm starving

veggie katsu curry and gyozas either chicken or veggie.

I see it's gone downhill, why??!!

Mine too, I’ve been having it for more than 17 years. And they have discontinued it now. 😭😭

Chicken Raisukaree. Duck or pork steamed buns. Any gyoza. Yum!

I have the sides and starters. I find the mains boring.

Firecracker chicken and chilli squid are my favourites, it's just an easy place to eat rather than being the best thing ever. DS loves their children's meals and at least it's not just chicken nuggets of pizza for him

I’ve never had a starter/side that I didn’t like. The katsu chicken is nice, although a safe choice.

I ought to try something different but I have the firecracker chicken every time. It looks so appealing as well as tasting great. Dd 16 loves the katsu chicken.

I haven't set food inside Wagamama since before the pandemic and won't go back until 1.) They stop making half their menu vegan, and 2.) they bring back my beloved chicken itame :(

The new(ish) extra spicy chicken katsu is great. All the joy of chicken katsu with a proper hefty kick.

Love bang bang cauliflower as well.

Why does the number of vegan options mean you refuse to go? There are still many non-vegan options, and the vegan options can be eaten by non-vegans too

We get some of the buns, and gyoza to share.

Then I like the beef brisket donburi. Sometimes get a kids ramen too lol

I always have yaki Sona and duck gyoza. Nothing else appeals on their menu, but these are so good! dH has yaki Udon but as others have said, it wasn't on the menu last time, thought it might be a temporary removal but sounds like it might not be! He also likes the steamed buns.

It's gone downhill. Went a couple of times last year after not going for years. The ramen was bland, the chilli squid was dry as a bone. Hardly any veg in the mains like a pp mentioned.
I can cook most of the dishes at home with much more taste.
