What little thing have you bought that you love?

I know this has been done before, but let's have a nice cheerful thread about the little purchase that thinks it's a giant. I have just bought a really cute hob kettle that makes me happy when it whistles Grin. I swear the tea tastes nicer too.

@HisHX

My dog is little but thinks he’s a giant, if that counts? Best money I’ve ever spent
Only counts if he was cheap Grin.

Ooh I’ve just thought of another. It’s little AND cheap. It’s a magnetic bar soap holder. I have one int he shower and one by bathroom sink. I love them!

Yes! I have two as I am worried one will stop working and it's the only way I can do boiled eggs properly!!

My dog. Hours of fun, great being outdoors in all weathers (maybe not me, but he loves it)
Also my daylight bulbs for reading etc. Game changing.

Yourinmyspot · 21/03/2022 23:20

Our Guinea Pigs! They aren’t very big but give us so much joy Smile

RockinHorseShit · 21/03/2022 23:41

My window film that refracts the light like crystal & throws rainbows all over the room in the early morning sunlight. Makes me smile everyday. Especially seeing our cats "rainbow bathing" & as a bonus it stops nosey knickers & tourists taking cat photos through our front windows 😆

Not a cheap one, but my real wool duvet, with Egyptian cotton cover, it's like sleeping under a soft warm cloud, yet somehow cuts down on over heating/night sweats

Last week I bought a little toy duck for my toddler whilst we were out together. She talked to it all the way round as I pushed her on our walk in the buggy, it filled my heart with joy to hear her. When we got home she introduced it to her other toys and made sure it was settled amongst them.

LondonQueen · 22/03/2022 00:00

An AirTag for my keys! Wouldn't be without it and have bought a few more.

AnnieSnap · 22/03/2022 00:14

My Neom diffuser and my Bose earbuds (you did say little, not inexpensive).

Tallulah1972 · 22/03/2022 05:38

Winnie the Pooh dining set from Asda. Makes me happy every time I plate up 💕

supperlover · 22/03/2022 05:44

Owl lampshades from Lush. I particularly like the blue owl who looks down on me from above my bed.

I used to have nice eyebrows that never needed anything beyond a bit of plucking, but they greyed and thinned. What feels like 2942785 million high end products and treatments later, I found this. Subtle but it works brilliantly (and is so cheap)

Would you recommend this for those of us with (very) thinning brows, @CPL593H?
CPL593H · 22/03/2022 11:03

@JuteWeaver yes, I'd give it a shot. The "tails" on mine especially are very thinned and it has made them look a lot better. I think it works on the principle of some mascaras, ie has filaments that cling to the existing hairs and thicken them. I do it with a really light hand, it can be built up and used with a pencil as well although I haven't tried this yet.

The neutral brown shade isn't at all "warm toned" as I've found a lot of products to be and is good with grey hair (and brows!) but I think would work for pretty much anyone.

Hope this helps.

My Swiss Army Executive knife, small and neat but not too small and really really useful. They're not that cheap but they last forever.
The tweezers are fantastic for splinters and chin hairs alike. The mini-scissors are handy too.
I always pack them when going away and being small I think they're ok to take on an aircraft now too.

@CPL593H Thank you so much for your reply. I'm going to give it a whirl. My browns are down to next to nothing at the outside edges!
Thanks again! Smile

IncyWincyGrownUp · 22/03/2022 13:37

Some cheesy cosy murder mystery books from the charity shop a few months ago. I have the plague and am sat on my bed reading about a busybody sleuthing away in the Yorkshire dales.

That sounds almost worth having the plague for Smile
