Feeling a bit rubbish on all fronts atm but I’ve just finished a bowl of soup with a cheese toastie to dip in and now I feel like I’ve been hugged

What’s your go to comfort meal when you feel a bit rubbish?
Mine strangely all seem to include toast

I absolutely love tuna pasta bake or lasagne. However, tomato soup with bread is a favourite when I feel poorly! 🥣

Heinz tomato soup with a cheese sandwich on white bread.

My own arabiatta sauce with pasta and lashings of (should be Parmesan but is often mature cheddar) cheese on top

Oven roasted tomatoes, onions fried slowly with butter and balsamic... etc. Good of the GODS

Jacket potato with cheese coleslaw and beans. But it has to be made by my mum

My new one is cheese and ham toasted panini (I'm a vegan so use substitutes). Hadn't had one since I were about 10, until yesterday!
