How many biscuits do you have with your tea?

I just had four, but they are small, 26 calories and 2.6 net carbs each. High in fibre and low in sugar. They are basically dust biscuits but you get used to them.

Anyway, it made me wonder whether I'd be considered greedy by MN standards 😂

I was brought up knowing that 2 is the 'right' number of biscuits - I have no idea why. Maybe because for a child a couple of custard creams or rich teas is plenty of sugar? Although we were only allowed one chocolate digestive - if we wanted a second biscuit it had to be a plainer one.

Same. These are the biscuit rules and I'm shocked if other people don't abide by them. My children think I'm nuts though.

SmallChange11 · 10/03/2022 15:41

Oh and that's only with my afternoon cup of tea. Remaining cups are naked.

Acesup · 10/03/2022 15:44

None or 700. Nothing in-between, hence usually none

I have a cup of tea mid-morning and late afternoon and two biscuits with each.
Don't eat biscuits on their own. I don't see why you would.

They taste nice?

MissCarolina · 10/03/2022 16:01

I usually have between 1 and 3.

PoleFairy · 10/03/2022 16:02

I always have 4 biscuits with a cup of tea but I dont have a cup of tea often. Maybe 3 times a week I'll have a tea and 4 biscuits. I might have one this afternoon actually

Goblinwife · 10/03/2022 16:23

None but I only have green or peppermint tea and they don't really go

But without tea they're so dry
DepthOfTheAbyss · 10/03/2022 17:17

Talking about cheese, today I had Bombay mix with my tea.

firstimemamma · 10/03/2022 17:20

I need to get back on that and drop out the biscuits, but I don't want to.

None. I drink about 7 cups of tea a day!

100problems · 10/03/2022 17:29

It would be more accurate to answer in packets.

Chocolate Hob nobs are afraid of me.

notacooldad · 10/03/2022 17:29

Currently none.
I'm going processed food free at the moment.
2 months ago anything from a couple to half a packet!!!

doadeer · 10/03/2022 17:37

None. Never really been into biscuits. Except the occasional shortbread on a train journey (very specific!)

WutheredOut · 10/03/2022 17:39

None because otherwise all the biscuits!

RichardMarxisinnocent · 10/03/2022 17:41

@Aworldofmyown

All of them!!! So I don't buy biscuits as I can't be trusted 😆
Same here!
Knightbuss · 10/03/2022 17:43

I always think I’ll have two, but usually have at least 6 Blush

I love a biscuit.

AuntieMarys · 10/03/2022 17:46

None! Never buy them as I'd hoover them up.

EatSleepReplete · 10/03/2022 17:50

None, I'm low carbing. Before I started this, I used to eat all the biscuits. Hence the low carb diet... I have zero self control with biscuits. Or chocolate.

What biscuits are they please @LottyD32

I have to restrict DC3 calories and carbs for medical reasons so I'm always on the hunt for treats she may be able to have.

LottyD32 · 10/03/2022 17:57

@Crunchymum They are from a european supermarket, not UK, they are own brand 'healthy' ones near the no added sugar ones.

I don't really like biscuits any more, but when I did, I'd usually have two.
