What do refuse to give up to save money

After reading the thread about what we will go without to save money i was thinking about what i just couldn't do without. For me it is tea, i will cut down or buy a cheaper brand of most things, but not my tea, i will stick to my brand no matter what. What can't you give up ?

Nice bread from the bakers once a week.

hellcatspangle · 03/03/2022 18:38

Agree with you OP. Yorkshire all the way.

16lily · 03/03/2022 18:42

Taking the kids to fun places. We may take a pack lunch and skirt any gift shops but I love going places with them, it's the highlight of my week if we have an adventure planned.

Lurpak butter
Fairy liquid
I've no brand loyalty to anything else and will happily switch for deals, but those 2? Nope, I refuse to switch.

Diet Coke... my only caffeine. Grin

Crackercrazy · 03/03/2022 18:58

Yorkshire Tea too (I stock up on the large boxes when they’re on offer).

Tumble drier Blush I know it eats money but after years of having damp washing everywhere (in colder months) I do love it.

DH was as committed as you to Lurpack. It's so expensive though 🙈 I set up a blind taste test for him with Tesco Butterpack and Tescos own brand won so now we have that 🙌

hellcatspangle PG for me, used to love Yorkshire tea but i had a really bad throat infection a few years ago and the taste of the tea was awful, i just can't face YT anymore.

Heating, alcohol, going out with friends. I drink decaf tea and live abroad so that's expensive too.
