Try Semantle.

It's like Wordle in that you need to guess the word of the day, but works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, ysterday's word was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I'm currently 840 words away with a similarity of 47%. I started at under 2%.

Anybody else attempting it?

I solved Semantle #29 in 55 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 5.25. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #10. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 71.13 (988/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

Better than yesterday but I think it's definitely down to lucky guesses .

I keep thinking the next word should be a synonym of the previous word but that isn't the case. It's more like a word you would be likely to think of when you hear the previous word.

I reckoned there must be others who needed something else to think about other than the current situation. It seems to be working.

Found it in 33. Highest previous guess was 33.25%, and cold. Will have fun finding the words in between.

I’ve got to 993/1000 in 27 guesses and I stuck!
