Try Semantle.

It's like Wordle in that you need to guess the word of the day, but works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, ysterday's word was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I'm currently 840 words away with a similarity of 47%. I started at under 2%.

The 750 word wasn't 750 for me! Gave me a cold 10 point something.

Got it. Looking at the words I tried I think I'd have done better with a smaller vocabulary!

I'm sorry, yes I am showing off but pure luck I assure you. Actually there's no fun in guessing it so quickly and then having to wait a whole day for the next go!

Stuck on 901. I have 6 words ranging from 197-901 and completely stuck!

Oh for goodness sake, I got to 638 on 17 guesses but can't move any further forward. I have to leave now but I WILL get it tonight.

Yes - it got a score of 27.82 which was in the top 1000 range but then no rank/green bar. It was a word which could be spelled with a hyphen, I'm not sure if I typed it in with one or not so maybe that's what confused it.

I need a hint someone!
