Try Semantle.

It's like Wordle in that you need to guess the word of the day, but works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, ysterday's word was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I'm currently 840 words away with a similarity of 47%. I started at under 2%.

Anybody else attempting it?

I solved Semantle #32 in 22 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 3.27. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #18. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 11.48. semantle.novalis.org/

I solved Semantle #32 in 173 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 10.29. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #87. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 21.63. semantle.novalis.org/

I was stuck on 988 for ages, had to do a bit of lateral thinking!

I got it in 68 today, went off in completely the wrong direction for awhile as concentrated on the wrong word. I do find it fascinating the random words I use to get there

I've got as far as 976/1000. All the high score words are along the one track, do I need to rethink?
