Try Semantle.

It's like Wordle in that you need to guess the word of the day, but works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, ysterday's word was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I'm currently 840 words away with a similarity of 47%. I started at under 2%.

Anybody else attempting it?

Argh I got stuck on a similarly of 60.78 how do I find out the answer? I got a load of similar words all really close but not close enough!

Oh yes! I got stuck on 998 too!!!

Oh FFs I've just seen. How the hell did I not put that after being stuck at 998! I was trying to be clever putting loads of fancy similar words.

Yesterday's took me 350 guesses. Prepared myself for the same today and by some complete fluke got it in 14! Thank you for introducing me to this ElegantlyTouched - great fun.

@ElegantlyTouched I wonder if the teacher had ever heard that excuse before! It's a story to tell. Googling synonyms!

Quite different to yesterday

Finally got it at 172! Got to 996 alone and someone gave me 998. Then got 997 then went off track and then finally got it. Not a great 1st try, but not awful either, lol.

I went in a random direction today and then luckily something changed. I have 970 and a bit frozen for now as I've used all nearby words I can think of and a synonym for it was cold as well. Need a little think here.
