Try Semantle.

It's like Wordle in that you need to guess the word of the day, but works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, ysterday's word was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I'm currently 840 words away with a similarity of 47%. I started at under 2%.

Anybody else attempting it?

I solved Semantle #31 in 88 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 14.33. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #5. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 26.30 (607/1000). semantle.novalis.org/

This is so odd...one word I put in got me to 744..a virtually identical world was "cold"....am baffled

I got stuck on 998 for ages...I almost caved and gave up but got it on my 49th guess in the end.

This one nearly broke me - 280 guesses to get there! I was five away on my 25th attempt and spent ages meandering around similar words.

Can someone send me a hint, please? Been on the go all day, making my dd's b'day cake among other things, and the highest I have is 912. Thanks!

912 is in the same ballpark but may not be immediately obvious. Think of the qualities which would cause you to do that for someone.

Another who was stuck on 998 forever. Frustrating today.
