Try Semantle.

It's like Wordle in that you need to guess the word of the day, but works by semantics. So you input a word and it will tell you how close you are. You have infinite guesses.

For example, ysterday's word was 'costly' with expensive, cumbersome and burdensome being the three closest words.

I'm currently 840 words away with a similarity of 47%. I started at under 2%.

Anybody else attempting it?

I solved Semantle #30 in 146 guesses. My first guess had a similarity of 17.25. My first word in the top 1000 was at guess #8. My penultimate guess had a similarity of 17.59. semantle.novalis.org/

Just got it as well at guess number 115…didn’t get higher than 963, but 522 followed by 590 got me there!

Thanks for sharing this game. I really enjoyed it, so simple and fun. Total beginner's luck but I just got today's in 32 guesses!!

I gave up, I was swimming around military words and soldier etc. was nearing 170 guesses, though took me a while to get military in the first place.

Some of the similar words on the list were bewildering - paedophile, adulteress?
